Dont come to Zurich for smoking dope, drinking booze or having fun, if money is your concern. Everything here is f***ing expensive, not only the dope. My appartment rent here is higher than my whole salary in Germany before the tax gets deducted.
Anyway, Ive also never seen a better spot to chill than Untere Letten in Zurich during spring/summer. You can swim for free in a very clean river, smoke dope, drink beer, watch youths doing grafittis, be loud, and no one cares. The police checks the area frequently (once or twice every 2 weeks), but they only care for dealers. If they dont catch anything, they will get one unlucky dude, take his dope and write down his ID, but only to not come home empty handed. That risk is like getting hit by a lightning.
