Best med Doctor for getting an extended plant count

I'm potentially moving to CO and want to get a medical card with an extended plant count. I have a history of migraines so I should be able to get a card pretty easily. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a doctor that will give extended plant counts without over charging me?

You also need to be aware of what city you are going to have your license attached to if you decide to get one. The laws allow for cities to place their own ordinances on plant counts which make the extended plant count recommendations obsolete. Denver only allows 36 currently. Lakewood is 6 max no matter how many people live in the house. Theres only a few cities left that do not have regulation.

All Coloradans 21 and older can grow six plants, with three of those being mature at any given time. That's our constitutional right, thanks to Amendment 64. But under Amendment 20, which established the medical marijuana system in 2000, patients can have more "if such greater amounts were medically necessary to address the patient's debilitating medical condition." That's what's called an extended plant count, which doctors can recommend based on individual medical circumstances.
State lawmakers limited that seemingly infinite right last year with the so-called Caregivers Bill, which takes effect in January 2017. It limits caregivers — people with "significant responsibility for managing the well-being of a patient" and who often grow for their patients — up to a max of 36 plants. That's six for each of five patients, plus six for personal use. But caregivers with patients who have that extended plant count recommendation may grow up to 99 plants. Only state-licensed medical marijuana cultivation facilities are allowed to grow more than 99.
Recently, City Councilor Larry Bagley proposed an ordinance limiting home grows to 12 plants. His recommendation comes after chairing the city's medical marijuana task force, which was appointed last fall to review, evaluate and develop policy around marijuana businesses (though the plant count limit has nothing to do with businesses — it only affects citizens in their private residences). No patients or caregivers served on the task force.
The Springs would not be the first local jurisdiction to lower plant counts even further. Denver also has a 12-plant limit; Pueblo allows 18 marijuana plants in single-family homes and 12 plants in apartments and duplexes........."

That game is over... The new rules now are that you need to have a history of care from the Dr that gives you your recommendation. History meaning six months to a year with multiple Dr visits in that period. And if your under 40 good luck...

It's nice up here in the mountains, been here since before A64 passed, place has only gotten better. Only reason I'm interested is a few have asked me and I have no info to share.

That is what i think its all coming down to you pretty much hit the head with the hammer.
growing your medicine is one thing trying to get plant count raised means for one is the medication working ??? why are you needing more plants???
To think your getting better or its solving the issue,
this is what the real problem really is..
Gov is not stupid , Doctors are not stupid, and especially state gov is not stupid.
They obviously know that people requiring more plants are probably thinking that they want to subsidize there income.

To think . that you cannot grow your own or have enough medicine with 6 - 12 plant limit your insane here one plant i bet i get 3 - 5 pounds if a person smoked 3 0z per month or 84 grams a month that is 3 grams per day how many oz are there in a pound so even 4 oz a month for medicine 1 pound for 3 months still have 2 - 4 pounds untouched ???? more then a years supply from one plant ..
so now you have 6 plants indoor instead @ grown to 8 oz per plant 3 plant harvest then clone 3 and throw others in flower or just 2 plant perp
Enough to sustain your self easily
But no Greed takes in effect i need more more like some Crack head or kid on a sugar fix ....

Why not make a law that if your caught growing over the limit your ard is destroyed and your flagged if caught again min 10 years in jail i will vote for that in a heartbeat to have marijuana legal in my country,
Meanwhile i will keep looking over my shoulder in hopes not to get caught even growing 1 plant

I went to MMD and asked right on the spot. I explained that the Rec limit wasn't cutting it for me. He asked how I consume. I told him Concentrates and Edibles. He gave me 24 plant and 8 oz without blinking.
