Best~FEMS... on the market???

If even 1% do produce "nanners" then it isn't a myth. The reality is that for the hermi gene to express itself the plant itself needs to be sufficiently stressed to trigger it. Since growers do their level best to maintain stress free environments it stands to reason the percentage of actual hermi expressions would be a small percentage.

I didnt explain myself thoroughly. The nanners were lack of knowledge/care on the growers part. They may be more susceptible, but to mention the nanner thing with fems is just plain dumb. Ruins the seed makers reputation over something widely misunderstood. Not saying I know the whole truth. But from my expansive experience, and others... it shouldn't be mentioned in my opinion.

Basically im saying its blown out of proportion. And I dont want people to get that idea in their head.

I didn't see a single hermie in 10 years of growing. When I saw 4 out of 8 fem seeds go hermie in early flowering, I knew it wasn't something I did wrong.

I don't mean all feminized seeds are like that. I had 9 Sensi Star fems grow with no problems last year. I just wouldn't buy Twilight fems from Dutch Passion again. After doing more reading in 2011, I don't think reporting my experience in particular did anything to ruin their reputation. I should have done more reading before I bought the seeds in the first place.

I don't think its wise to use dutch passion fems as a bench mark to compeare all fem seeds.. they are down with the bad quality in their fems and regs.

ive grown both fems and regs. theres just as much chance of herms or nanners with either type in my experience.

Darthfarter> If you asked me the right way maybe I would tell you. Breeder sites like this are sensitive to giving other breeders business, but I guess you are too dumb to know this. This is why they have the private message. Why don't you try doing a search and finding out what has been asked too many times.

You can mention any breeder even if seedbay or the bou dont stock them.

I was warned and had a post deleted because of directed peeps to another web sites that may have seeds that they didn't have without realizing it was just a grey area that I didn't want to get in to.
But my point was if you get regular seeds from a breeder you like and like the strains you shouldn't be afraid to order all feminized seeds from them today. People gave good advice and strains to pick from. No need for anyone to attack you for your answer. If anyone wants strain names and breeders I would prefer a private message and would be glad to help. Feminized seeds can be more sensitive to stress, so make sure you don't move them around, light leaks, or over fert.

Good luck,

doesn't mdanzig have some fem auto's?

nothing's easier than auto's, they're awesome for a beginner.

she'd only need to sex them (@ 17-23 days usually) and most of them go 24 hours lights on, any time in her busy schedule she wants to look in & water her babies would be cool. Small grow chamber, can get great results from CFL bulbs.

And she's harvesting in 60-70 days.......

That I agree with, if one understands how to run a stress free grow then the hermi gene expressing itself in feminized seeds is practically non existent if those seeds are produced by a breeder who knows what they are doing.
