best brand growtent on the market?

M

Mossad

hey, zoolander are you the actual actor? That is a stupid question because you probably actually are and the world is so funny about a contact high, ha ha..ya, actors have secrets....secret jardins...ha ha

I still love the idea of easily putting 2000 watts in the XXL SUNHUT, those secret jardins do look nice but don't make a larger one :-(

There is always a way to get rid of chemical oders, Bongjangles had a an article on chlorine gas or something.......ha, maybe swimmers shampoo!

Hydrogen Peroxide is good for no chlorine as well...

rock a couple xl and one xxl homebox.

Best tent ever, aside from the little flaps at the bottom. Takes about 10 minutes, maybe 20 if it is a big'un.

What don't you like about the flaps? Do they have velcro around the edges like the BudBox?

Yea, they velcro Up, instead of down. It would be so much easier if they just velcrod down... allowing gravity to do its thang. lol. They only have * I think * 2 or MAYBE 3 pieces of velcro to hold it up... so, you basically get my drift.

IMHE, I found that the homebox is excellent at keeping light in, with VERY little leaking out. Can't say the same for the SJ.

I have a Homebox and while I can attest to it's high quality, I will never buy another grow tent again.

2 x 2s + black & white poly = all you'll ever need

What is wrong with the white plastic, the refection precentage? I would still be happy with a somewhat loss of light, but..........

Might wanna check up on that mossad they got some big ones now :)

You are right man, they got a new pic up on their site. Very sexy large tents, awsome!

I do want to thank bongjangles, these tents do look nice...I might have to order from overseas....i'll search for a domestic seller....thanks peoples.

Hey zoolander, "you're" new movie looks pretty sweet! I never had anyone close to me either, makes me seem dangerous and dumb.

the white plastic lets off toxic fumes, mine has and i have heard of other tents using white plastic letting off toxic fumes which harm the plant. With that being said has ANYBODY heard of bad reports about the mylar lined tents???

I was happy enough with my Budbox to buy another when I needed a 2nd tent. The quality had dropped a LOT.

When buying a new tent, make sure you're up to date on user reports as things can change.

Not sure what you mean Pharma?

You got another BudBox and found the quality of it had dropped compared to the last BB you bought? Is that correct?

Yes, some of the zips tore as I closed it for the first time. A noticeable drop in quality compared to the first one I bought. I do prefer the silver lining to the white of the first one but it's so thin, a few pinholes have developed.

Edit: The zips are still ok, it's the way the fabric is joined to the zip that is a problem.

btw, I learned of another way to put the tent together from another site. He built it in 2 halves, top and bottom, then swung the top into place.

Benji no ill effects on my babies from the jardin yet... was a chemical used to make the pvc malleable? that caused the problems in the plants... mylar doesn't need it I'm quite sure... SECRET JARDINS ARE GREAT TO PUT TOGETHER! literally just assemble the stand unzip the door (all the way around) and put it on... zippers are pretty heavy duty on the new ones... still be careful though zippers are zippers...

Just to confirm....the new tent you bought was a BudBox right? Only I only just got a brand new BudBox myself and the lining is white plastic inside....I just looked on the website (global-hydro.net) and it says all the BudBoxes are white inside.

You sure you don't mean Secret Jardin Dark Room? They are the only ones I know that have a silver lining inside the tent..

I apologise if I sound patronising (is that the right word?). I just want to make sure we get the info right for the tents here.

I just got the new sun hut xl, and it has the silver interior also. I had the one with the white lining and it had the same problem as the hydrohuts. I lost two crops before I figured it out. Thought it was a bad ph meter or heat issue and covered everything. I had to throw a shit fit at my retailer for him to swap it out. Hopefully this one is ok...

Stunk to high hell though after I put it up, much worse than the one with the white interior. It also came with the same white plastic water floor liner for some stupid reason. I want no part of that after this last month of hell, so I already tossed it. It's not worth the risk.

No problems with asking for clarification, on forums it's a choice between saying as little as possible to get the point across or else post something so long and exact that's it's as dry as dust.

Defo a Budbox, it came from Dr Chronic, got the Budbox logo on the rubber zipper tags, one of which came off in my hand. (My white lined Budbox has no rubber zipper tag logo.)

Either you've bought new old stock, (lucky you, wish I had,) or they've changed the design back. Or maybe they decided to test it out on us bottom feeder Brits first, they know we will take any shyte if it's cheap enough.

As it happens, it's doing the job ok. The main rip is on the side where I have the passive vent open and the rip on the front right bottom is now covered by an old duvet.

I just checked my tent and it has the rubber zipper tags with the logo on. It has a green lining around the sides on the outside.
The rubber zipper is stuck on pretty damn good. No chance of ripping that thing off unless you were really trying hard.
I'm in the UK too. Bought my tent about 6weeks ago from growell.co.uk.

When was your purchased?
