I have seen some amazing grows on this site from so many different growers but I really want to see if folks have tried to grow any seeds found from good bag smoke. I know alot of folks don't waist time with unknown genetics and even less will take the time to grow out bagseed but, I have found a few gems in the bags I scored and wondered what others have found. Please feel free to post anything you grew from a bag and if possible let us know about the smoke report if possible. Guestimation from others as to what strain it could be is also encouraged. :sasmokin:

Greasy Bitch was all Cali Pine Tasting kinda like some other stuff i use to get with tons of red hairs. Nothing but piney taste but not harsh very smooth. I lost most of these but i still have the same stash of mystery beans from which they came  . So when i get bored or want something new I'll pop a few and see whats to come.

Bagseed is the only way I've ever grown. I've got some good genetics for my next grow though. Here's what I've had so far.

This one is curing right now. Grown under a 70w HPS.It has a rotten citrus smell. Smokes very smooth and gives a nice energetic high that makes you laugh at yourself for being so stoned.

This was my first grow. Grown under a 70w HPS. It had a stinky skunk smell, taste like hash, and would glue you to the couch.

Here's a midget clone from the plant above. Also grown under a 70w HPS

This plant was an experiment. Grown under 2 x 24w CFL and never ferted. Don't have any pics of it closer to harvest. It smelled fruity and sweet. It tasted minty and gave an energetic high that made my head tingle.

I call this Forrest Gump

I call this Forrest Gump

I didn't have the resources to buy good genetics.Since I had saved all of the best bag seed I found out of random nuggets, I decided to try with what I already had. I had like 50 of B.C bagseeds. I tried to stay away from that and focus on the few "really Good" seeds I had. I only had 2 of this stuff. 1 turned out much better than the other. The Forrest was resinous and had a fresh green chlorophyll smell in veg and early bud. The sour chlorophyll smell never left. It faded into a sweet citrus pineapple or some type of fruit. Sometimes it smelled like a mix of pine forrest & sandalwood. Lots of interesting notes.
When smoking it has mild taste on the inhale. It is a tangy, woodsy citrus that isn't extreme.I also feel a coating of resin over my tongue & throat.
The expanding chest then exhale. That's the best part. It is the best part is an almost menthol like sweet metallic spice. Some of my friends say it's piney or minty. I don't think it's either. Both the woody spice and the sweet fruit complement each other instead of taking away from either one alone. It's a mix Sweet & Spicy that is sublime. ( I love describing buds!) :yummy:
Here is:
the Gump

This seed came from the same bag as Gump. It was Tiny and white but I tried it out anyway. It was much more Sativa. Not in the fact of how it grew. It grew like An Indica since it didn't stretch at all during flowering. It was a easy plant to keep happy. It took almost 10 weeks to get any amber glands to show up. When they did, I had a small harvest window. It only took3-4 days for the plant to go from 75% clear to 25% amber. I am glad I was looking every day with my microscope.
This plant didn't have much smell while growing except the green citrus chlorophyll. As she got older in bud, a mild skunk smell. Not rancid Skunk, More like sweet B.C. Skunk. Not strong but lovely all the same.
The smoke wasn't a hard hitter either. Very intellectual buzz. Almost motivational but a bit spacey to actually get anything important accomplished. Not much body load, more cerebral effects.
The taste is like the smell. Kinda like Gump, but watered down. It just never got as resinous as her sister. She didn't have the menthol exhale either. Good Party smoke. Everybody who tried it, liked it.
Here is:
Gump's Sister

Well, What do ya think?
