Hmmmm just cos he dont know what bagseed is makes a differance how? i havent had a seed in a bag of weed for 15 year. Guess it all depends on the grade gear u get :p

Don't be a douche. I'm helping.

If you don't know what bagseed is - but bagseed is discussed in THOUSANDS of threads here - you don't know the term, you haven't read enough.

See the logic?

Probably not. You're already the king of growing. That's why you're posting bullshit like this, right?

Have a good time knowing it all.

As reccomended in another post, deffinately go with either B.O.G or Rezdog seeds. Some dank but a little harder strains to grow would be Chemdawg, Sour Diesel from Rez, and Bubblegum from B.O.G. As for starting, Lowryder isn't really worth it, because it lacks alot of potentcy. This is because Lowryder is crossed to a russian hemp plant, to trigger autoflowering, but still produce smokeable buds. Northern lights is a pretty good strain to work with for a first timer. Its a more treelike bud, and doesn't reek of skunk like alot of the other danker strains do. Whatever you may choose though is up to you, and best of luck

i dont really agree that growing bagseed is best for a first grow unless you really cant afford to buy a cheep pack of seeds. bagseed could be anything and take an unspecified amount of time to ripen, and also could me more prone to throwing male flowers.
but at the other end of the scale buying really expensive seeds like REZ is probably best left untill you have a few grows under your belt.

I agree with VG.
I don't know why bagseed is recommended so often.
There are too many unknowns. Unless you're familiar enough to be able to tell if the dried bud you'll be using the seeds from leans towards indica, sativa or hybrid. 3 to 4 months of work, electricity and the possibility of being found out, is too much to risk on bagseed, imo. If a sure thing is available and within your means...

There are some great varieties available between $20 - $50

yeah tbh i myself still wouldnt pay more than $100 or so for a pack of seeds. when you get to that price you are paying for hype as well as quality imo...

Bag seed is typically suggested for you first grow because most people don't get threw there first grow all the way successfully. Since most people tend to learn very little before they jump right in. They tend to stumble around on the very basics then eventually learn during the process that knowledge is power ....and is also healthier plants.

Keeping that in mind, most don't want to recommend a purchase of seed for the first grow because that would combine the disappointment of a potentially failed attempt with the waste of purchased seed cost.

That being said, there is a valid point to possibly increasing your chances of success by using known seeds from a strain that is more suited for a beginner gardener. As stated by others above, beginner strains can be found at a reasonable price.

There are many strains out there that would be good to start with but, like I recommended already, look at Northern Lights (NL). It's a fairly good producer and is less problematic then most ... a good first timers strain.

Hey, stear clear of fems. Get a normal pack and just start the learning process. Their are plenty of people who are on here who can easily help just by a picture. I'd go towards something stable that is very resistant to stress and other things. By that I mean stay clear of chemdogs, sour diesels and things like that until you've had a couple grows under your belt. Those are the hardest strains to grow...now heres the list i think you should go after

Spice of life - Og kush x BS - http://www.seedboutique.com/store/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=122&products_id=2025

DJ Shorts - http://www.seedboutique.com/store/index.php?manufacturers_id=57 - Anything from this guy will be amazing

Dutchgrown - http://www.seedboutique.com/store/index.php?manufacturers_id=134&sort=4a&page=1

I think that'll honestly be the best choice for a newbie you get some funky complex flavors with easy to grow genetics. Dutchgrown has some amazing gear with c99 crosses for stability. I'm going on my fourth of fifth strain of hers and i can't get enough. Happy picking oh and if money is tight check our nirvans full line, chrystal and super skunk made me a happy grower at one point too.

i'm ever so sorry to you o lord of growing.....just cos he dont know what bagseed is u jump on him to read more.......how do you know he isnt a proffesional tomatoe grower? or chilli grower or something? i'm sure "bagseed" is all over chilli n tomotoe forums lol not everyone learns to grow from this site dude....not everyone know all the terms ppl use here. I read here for atlweast 4 hours a day and still have to google stuff ppl say ;p so wind ya neck in and dont jump on him just cos he deasnt know as much as u.

Back on topic. For my 1st seeds i used a mix pack of femmed seeds from GHS 5 strains in one pack cant go wrong for first time. Also Himalayan gold from GHS is very easy to grow can take some right stick and just keep going ^^

Edit: I'd also stay clear of bagseed as alot of seeds will have come from a plant turning hermy so said seed will prolly be hermy (i know alot will disagree here but seeds with no background info could be anything)
