Beating a game camera

A while ago i remember reading a thread on here where some fella had his picture taken with a game camera while visiting his plants. He threw the cam in a pond if i remember correctly.
Well i know a guy(family member) who is a hunter, and he just told me this story. Hunting and chased a few deer on private paper company property and damned if he didn't get his picture taken with a game cam. So he removes the memory card and moves on. Ran into a buddy of his down the hill and told him the story, well his buddy thinks they also have internal memory and may still have his picture.

So they walk up around the back of it and open her up from around the tree. Right inside there is a service #, so they decide to call it.
Guy says he just got this camera not that long ago and wants to know how to erase the internal memory. Dude on the phone (company in Texas) asks for his name, and my guy says he prefers not to say his name. Well he got talked through it and they walked away feeling much better
Thought this story could help a few outdoor growers safe, and a few land owners to keep their property. Pretty sure a memory card is much cheaper than a game cam, and he might convince himself he forgot the card in the first place.

Ive seen trail cams from cableas that send a email/text when it catches a pic. Best thing to do is if you know youll b in a area that has trail cams wear something that covers ur face appear to be hunting/fishin/bird watching etc youll b fine. Trail cams are often put out by the park service,game wardens,wildlife biologists, hunters and property owners.

The newer ones have zero flash, noise, etc. I would stick with the idea of a balaclava (or in summer less suspiciously a bug net hat) if not being ID'd by one is a top priority.

Seriously though- I tend to avoid areas with Game Cameras. If you see a game camera somewhere, chances are that the person who put the camera there is going to be back at some point, likely with a bow and/or firearm... That is not someone I want to bump into on the way to or from harvesting... especially if I took an axe to their game camera earlier in the year!

In the instances when I saw game cameras and had no other choice, I either picked a different spot entirely, or figured a way to avoid the camera on the way to my plot.

I visit a hunting website daily,those hunters with game cams get texts updated everyday from the cams, they immedietly post pics on the site asking for info as well as text the pics to the sheriff and the game warden,the warden is who you have to worry about, a cop cant do shit compared to a game warden the warden can walk in your house to search without a warrant.

Game wardens only go onto private property if their is a wildlife crime reported or someones life is in danger they know better than to be snooping around or entering a dwelling on someones property they dont want to risk getting shot by property owners or in some cases having a pack of big game hunting dogs chase them down hehe. Most of the punks around here will shoot up and destroy game cams for fun some models you can even take down and use for yourself.

Look up Game Warden on Wikipedia they dont need a search warrant for any reason in my state,and ive known one my whole life,he said he knows the combination # to every lock in the state it is 30-06,and a GW is welcome on any lease i know of,just to shoot the shit if nothing else.

Stop pulling heat from rippers, other douchebag growers and general scumbags who think they have a right to do whatever they want on other people's properties.

The only rights you have on public and/or private, posted property is the right to have your ass filled with buckshot.

If you want to grow in the great outdoors, buy yourself a piece of it.
