says you rinse the 1/2" cuts in a bleach solution?
then they sit for 10-12 weeks, sounds weird.
i dunno if i would wait 3 months for a lil cut.

If you guys wouldn't mind sharing links about that tissue culture stuff, I'd appreciate it. I'm extremely interested....and things like 3 months don't turn me off if the payoff is a huge library of strains in a small compact space.
I'll also share a funny and related story with you: when I was between 16 and 17 years old....I had some friends that were selling something they called "E". We all thought it was "Ecstasy" and there was a big market for that at the time. When pressed about it, we were told it was something called "Ethyl Triptamine". I'd buy it for like $400 an oz, cut it up into small pills and sell it like X. People were F*CKED up from this stuff.....
It's hard to describe, but it was not unlike "X". I distinctly remember one of the side effects was "black-ish trails" in front of your eyes....as opposed to the blurry trails you get when you trip on acid sometimes...
Nonetheless, upon investigating this stuff further (we wanted the source) we were informed that it was coming from someone who was at the University of Arizona that was involved in "TISSUE CULTURE". Consequently, these people were also the same individuals growing an insane, legendary and renowned strain they just called the "5-BI".
Somehow in the course of their studies at school they came across this powder involved in the tissue culture lab....and discovered it had psychedelic and anti-anxiety properties.
The main individual involved was a lab assistant that had the ability to contact the distributor and order whatever supplies were required. Somehow, massive amounts of the "E" went missing without incident....and they made a bundle.
I personally sold thousands of hits in New Orleans during Mardi Gras and Jazz Festival....
I sold this stuff at Buckeye Lake Ohio, and RFK in Washington....
It was so lucrative, I can't even begin to describe the level of income at that young age.
People became so rabid and over the top zealous about this stuff that they came to my house at all hours of the day and night.....needless to say, at that young age, I was into every substance I could get my hands on. It wasn't long before my parents had a hissy-fit and decided to throw me out on my ass.

So, the moral of the story: 1) Sometimes one thing has many uses. This was the case with Tissue Culturing back then....2) Don't deal drugs from your parent's house, they eventually get all pissed off because people are fiends.

I believe tissue culturing was a bit more primitive and required alot more science jazz back then...I highly doubt it involves some of the same substance, but if it does......it's PARTY TIME!

This tissue cultute thing sounds great!!!! Good for swapping, cant see much more than that. 3 months is a hella long time. But to preserve something you dont wanna lose is worth it.

BB...I hate this new pic thing too...Half the time I try uploading, it just recopies the same pics too...cann comm had a great pic system. My pics are gonna be WAY less frequent now too...

Oh jesus, another person addicted to $ after making WAY too much as a teen, huh? Well, access, I'm just glad you were able to get a professional career. Even though I worked for a CPA for 4 1/2 years, I got no education, and a record, so I'm kinda fucked getting a job in that field again

And I've never made money like that since. Not even close. I miss the shit outta it

BB: I dunno what problems you're experiencing with the pictures. My first time attempting this was last night. I simply created an album....uploaded my pictures (sucks they only allow 4 at a time to be uploaded). Then I was able to click on any of the pictures in the album...and it gave me web-code that I could just copy and paste into the thread. It is a bit more tedious than just clicking on a picture in the prior "go advanced" area....but not so difficult that it would deter me from posting pictures.
In fact, the way these pictures are being handled now make mine so much clearer and larger that I think it's amazing.
I think the bugs will get worked out, but I do know the intention was to limit the amount or size of pictures somehow. Not to the point where it eliminates people posting pictures, because after all...this site would not really exist in the same vein if there were no pictures....
I'd take a few bingers, have a latte and give it awhile. Let's focus on that tissue culturing bro...sounds like a whole business opportunity ala GHS....

Well, it went way beyond my parents being "suspicious". There were scads of high people coming and going....smoke billowing out of my room....the high-pitched whine of the Nitrous Oxide tank filling balloons....loud music...
And I had more money than I knew what to do with....it was VERY OBVIOUS...
The kind of shenanigans that would land any teenager in hot water.
As far as money was concerned: I'll put it this way...when I went to Buckeye Lake OH to see the Dead play....I went with no money in my pockets....and in 2 days I had $10,000.00 in cash. Not to mention that we had our fill of whatever people were willing to trade: food, acid, mushrooms, opium, assorted pills...etc.
I made TONS of money as a teen. Enough to put me through college, support me on my own with no other job in a 2 bedroom apartment with no roommates....and then it put me through professional school afterwards. I paid my car insurance, groceries, you name it that way. If it weren't for drugs, I'd be on the street somewhere with no education and nothing.
My parents basically shafted me at around 17 and left me with nothing except bad feelings. I dealt my way to success, and I have NO regrets whatsoever. Was quite an adventure, and I have scads of stories that would make the hair stand up on the back of your neck.....
All in all it was fun, and I wouldn't have traded it for the world...except for the part where my parents shanked me.

I hear ya, man. Trust me, I sold way more than most. Shit, man, I made like $5000 a week for like 9 months! I just wasn't anywhere near as smart as you with the money!

Bought and destroyed 3 nice ass cars, went to Canada several times, paid rent for a couple a years, didn't work at all, didn't do shit but smoke lots of weed and get drunk as fuck. 3 years and a couple of court cases later, it was gone. And that was a few months BEFORE my 21st b-day.

I still frequently wonder what the hell woulda happened if I'd have done something smart with the money... Now I think I know. Probably the same thing you did.

and if you can point me to the thread you have the info on the

anyway, as to the pictures, radvancan had it pretty much right on,
his english may not be the best (way better than my Czech you can
be sure) but his brain works just fine.

anyway, when you are posting a message you will see 2 buttons above
the dialog box you type into, 'ICMag Gallery' and 'Forum Albums'.
the first one leads to all your old pics and the second leads to a new area
where you can create seperate albums for each of your threads and keep
pics pertaining to that thread all together.

so, when you are posting, if the pic you want to post is a new one, you
will have uploaded it into an album so you will need to hit the second
button to get to your albums and then the button denoting that album,
then you will see all the thumbnails for all the pics in that album.
then find the pic you want, hover over it, right click and choose 'copy',
not 'copy shortcut'. then just paste that into your post, if you do it that
way you will see the thumbnails in your postings and they will be active
links to the full sized shots. which means it'll work pretty much like it used
to.

btw, for some reason when you insert the thumbnails for the pics in the
'ICMag Galerry', the thumbs will appear to be blank but they still lead to
the full sized shots. kinda like this

Doubtful...he strikes me as one of those knightly old world morally just individuals that's become a diplomat over time, but I'd sure as hell do it in a heartbeat if he'd take my bounty. I know it's outlandish and over the top, but it would be a curious social experiment to see the outcome of such a proposition. Plus I'm a firm advocate in keeping our "parks clean". If you see a piece of trash, you pick it up and put it in the garbage. It's only responsible, and honestly it's a civic duty. I'd think this would be no different. Then the whole place looks and smells cleaner for everyone to enjoy.​
