Great work Bean man.. gotta love the landrace erb......I should really do some more IBL work this season but too many flavours I want to smoke & not enough room!
I'm gettin old so I figgered a while back I should start trying to save some landrace stuff for my grandkids. Hadn't grown any heirloom cultivars since some mis last year, always clogging up my extra space with hybrid this or that.
Got some very righteous Swazi beanos from a right top fella. Apparently 3 different variations of the sa sativa. I plan on going through some of these and if I find something special (read; anything close to stable) I want to work with her.
I used a growdoc ad on a very long haze and it made a miniature with almost identical traits as mom that finishes in 10-12 wks or so, only much stronger! I would love to get lucky like that using a swazola!
Swazi "red" just now showing her naughty bits...
Growin her flowered from seed, but I feel we may be with each other for a few months yet...
Funny...She's a standard SA?I got four running right now...heu,well,three because one hermied...so i stay with two girls and a male...here is a pic of the four during veg. They now are flowering, will take a pic soon.
I was gifted these Swazi beans, ptg. They were collected by a safrican who eventually sent them to me. So far I have only popped a few of them (I run these types of things as extras in corners, extra area, etc..) and have culled all males until this one fem. The structure of these thin leaved sats look dead on like others I have seen growing. (shrug)
The other varieties of swazi's I have are reported as "spicy" and "standard" of which I haven't popped any yet.
Well, none of them...a kind soul did gave me some seeds collected in commercial weed in South Africa,4 different kinds. These one are called "standard" cause it's the most common kind, and they come from Swaziland. Most common yet they were of good quality according to the source.
The two girls smells spicy when rubbing the stem while the male have a strong skunky smell, dank as hell.He also have closer nodes than the two girls and don't seems to stretch too much. They have had two weeks in 12/12 under cool white fluoros and now are under the HPS for a few days. They'll be run in 10/14 now.
