BBC Documentary looking to speak to the cannabis community

Thought it was very good indeed. Very balanced. As a few have said, best docu so far.... but we can not expect these docs to show the true reality of things until people like us take the plunge and 'trust' the docu makers to see our lives without recourse.

Well i thought that last nites documentory from Bart was ok really, of course your gonna get quotes from the cops on the program that are far and away from the truth, but in general it was quite factual.

I also thought that it was presented quite well by James who from the outset identified himself as a previous consumer of cannabis.

I did think it was a bit irresponsible of the dad to teach his son all about weed and allow him to smoke it from the age of 15 though.

i liked it too, i feel some of my comments earlier in the thread were vindicated. i hope some of the posters who pre-judged the show before seeing it will have the balls to come back and acknowledge that it was well made and balanced.

I agree. When you see a criminologist on the box saying that people grow weed for ethical reasons you've got to say-yo-mofo-that's nice. Seemed eminently reasonable. Obviously Babylon are prone to wild exageration on weights and wonga but from here that looks like giving extra incentive for dudes to set up. Having said that I fell asleep half way through-but I am quite old. Look foward to seeing the second half-

nice work , Bart-credit where credit is due

i thought it was well balanced but some of Fowlers expresions an inuedos
made me crindge a couple of times.
what was that young student all about showing his face?
does he want busted or robbed?
when is the next part on again? i seen that lady in the cannabis addiction centre
saying "we could fill this place" at the end, so i cant wait for the second part.

dont the coppers have to have two sources of info, i bet they never had "other"
information to support the helicopter source.
it would be good to have a tent set up with veg growing and one phone call to
crimestoppers to see how much actual sources they actualy go on.
then i bet they would be wary of going through your door again.

At the start of the Doc, Martins says cannabis never done him any harm!

But Sonia must of scared him for life, all those snogging scense he had to go through lol. Eastenders in on tonight and Sonia is back:yoinks:

I thought the documentary wasn't too bad.. it seemed to show both sides relatively equally on what is a controversial topic (not to us on here so much :) )

There were a few pieces of misinformation I felt.. but mainly from the coppers shown.
Not as bad as the other recent canna documentary on the bbc though.

Does anyone remember that martin fowler was growing weed in the allotment shed in eastenders.. there was a comical cut scene that I still remember
