who are all you baseball fans pushing for this year?
me personally, i think the mets will dominate the nl this year.
their lineup is a.l. worthy and i think people will be suprised by their pitching staff this year.
i feel pumped in this early season thinking the mets will win it all. but in reality, everyone's team has a good shot on opening night!

so let me know who you think will take it all and why.
all opinions are welcome and even feel free to flame each others team.
after all, what's sports without competitive banter?

lets hope you can find another starter after zambrano. but who's pitching isn't suspect?
the red sox have the best pitching in the bigs by far, they can hit too!

I am a life long Yankee fan and I may be looking for a new team after the 2008 season because I am so pissed off about them abandoning Yankee stadium. I think Steinbrenner is stupid, greedy and a little senile. I also predict that the Yankees will have the next great "curse" because of abandoning one of the greatest sports complexes on Earth. Regardless, I will still never be a red sox fan.

well my mets swept the world series champs, outscoring them 20-2. then went and lost 2 outta 3 to the braves. nice first week!
i will be taking off tomorrow for opening day at shea against the rival phillies.
hope every1 enjoyed their easter!!

It has been a great start to the baseball season i went and seen the reds yesterday with a buddy it was cold but a few beers and a cincinnatti chili dog always warms the soul. enjoy the home opener thoro bud

Tigers!!!! We got the pitching. We've got a decent line-up with the addition of the Sheffield. We've got Leyland. I got to see the playoffs last year against the Yankees. Sat 6 rows behind home for the Johnston-Rogers game. We had tickets to game 6 of the World Series but &^%$ they lost to the Cards. We were sitting around the house, bags packed, watching the game. We would have had to drive 12+ hours but what the hell! This year, we're going to Boston for 2 games, Philly for a couple and DC for one. Plus whenever Spirit Air runs some cheap airfare to Detroit that matches up to a homestand.

I think my family just might disown me if I rooted for any team besides Boston. Things are looking good so far this year. Should be horrible watching everything fall apart with them, as usual. lol

Jake Peavy (one of the best in the league, hands down)
Greg Maddux (proven veteran)
Chris Young (should have had 20 wins last season)
David Wells (local from OB... what else is there to say, he's a horse he can still do it)
Clay Hensley (if u haven't heard much from him, oh well.. he's our 5th man..)

and i don't even want to talk about my bullpen... having hoffman can't hurt


it kinda sucks that my boy dave roberts went over to the giants with the rest of the padre gang (hopefully for the better).. the doc is a playmaker and thats all there is to it. (where are all the hella hyphy heads at??...)

on another note soriano is the pimpest player in the league
