Last year I selected a Nh x Ph mother from four or five females that were being flowered by @flower~power. I planted a clone outdoors and it grew large and was pollinated by four punto rojo males selected from 40 seedlings. So there's old-school Thai and Colombian genetics in there. The Nh x Ph female was excellent smoke, and a really sticky, resinous plant that nearly finished at 42N in early November and was done in only ~14 weeks indoors. Turns out she was really good breeding stock because look what she spawned:
This is one out of two females (Nh x Ph) x punto rojo I'm growing. I'd consider her a high-yielding pearl pheno. Then a week ago I actually did find and snip one 7" long literal string of pearly, resin-encrusted calyxes hanging from a lower bud.
I just smoked it (plucked at ~ 15 weeks). I got two small puffs out of it in a 1-hitter. I've also sampled a lower bud I snipped at ~13 weeks. I can say, unequivocally, that this is the clearest, cleanest, most inspiring high I've experienced in four decades. The kind of high where you don't think you're high until an hour later and you realize that you are simply soaring along and that things appear cartoonish. In terms of quality of effect, It is the near fulfillment of my breeding objectives. It could be a little more potent, it could give me visual hallucinations, but that's very rare and special stuff and not something I'd want to smoke every day. This plant is.
She's currently at 16 weeks and ready for harvest, but I'm going to take her to 18 weeks because I want seeds from a week-14 pollination to ripen. She carries F2 seed from early and late males, seed from a puntodorado BX (100% Colombian, 75% 1978 Colombian gold), and seed from my favorite feral male from last year's PR selection and repro. I plan to explore her offspring on the next grow.
