Hola @dubi , she is a new girl from seed. Put too much fertilizer on top, so she's been getting watered from the bottom to avoid any more leafburn.

My Bangi has been curing for about 3 months now and is starting to smell a bit babies nappy pissy.

I've been dipping into the jars daily, and I'm pretty sure it went in the jars dry enough, I've scoped it all out to look for any mould to no avail. I may just sling it all in the fridge and see if the piss passes by.

Anyone else get a piss smelling one?

Impressive colas on your new Bangi Haze @FletchF.Fletch :) Anise, musk, and lemon combined is the best terpene profile this line can deliver. If she delivers great smoke and effects you may have a winner 🔥

It's common for some lemony-scented sativas and sativa-dominant strains to develop "pissy" terpenes during mid to long-term curing.

This is my third outdoor season with the Ace seeds but first one exclusive. I had way more success than failure so thank you for bringing some great sativa genetics to the masses 🙏. More bangi haze pics taken today for everyone's enjoyment.

Bangi haze seeds seem out of stock everywhere - will you be making more of them?

Better babypiss than old gasstation toilet piss smell.. :D
I could imagine that it changes overtime. (Your other plants smell ‚normal‘? Just wondering if fertilizer/soil maybe could play a role.)

im always astouned what different fragrances cannabis can produce! Fascinating!
DJ 🎧 short once said that he grow some ganja along root beats and they all tasted like them in the end 😇 I can definitely see that happening when sharing soil.

Unfortunately, the ammonia pissy smelling buds were bad.
I did a sniff test and took out the 2 that smelt the worst and jarred them up separately. The quarantined buds were just straight ammonia piss. They got binned. My fault on the cure I suppose.
The rest of the Bangi was a lovely lemon sweaty scent... I'm down to my last couple of grams of it now and I'd say it needs a good 3 or 4 month cure to bring out that funk.
I'll be popping another fem bean this weekend I think, I really like this one. It's been my daily driver since I had a sample.

Cheers! :greenstars:

I guess so more or less 🤷‍♂️ suckers is the name people use in agriculture, for these useless branches that will do nothing of value and will take away from the important part of the plant. This is not the same as "regular" lower branches.

When you do lollipopping you could also take away budsites that are not suckers I guess, so they're not synonyms. Lollipopping is just making a "lollipop" out of a branch. It is yet another dumb name made up by the cannabis industry. It's just pruning.... what they call topping is also just pruning. For some reason there needs to be a dumb name for everything related to cannabis. "Techs" they call it lmao, like they are skateboarding tricks or something. Terms invented by people who haven't seen a plant in their lives other than weed.

If you are very new to growing as you say, you don't need to worry about these details, pruning is just pruning, it effects the distribution of hormones called auxins, which are responsible for the growth of the plant. If you cut a plant in one place, it will develop in the other places. That's the extent of the science here. Don't get caught up in silly names 👍
Hahahahha fantastic explanation!! 👏🏼👏🏼.
To continue learning, may I ask when you choose best to prune this chupones? (Had some in my neck in my younger days 🙈)
