Hi Sticky :)

We have talked for months about it, very happy to see your first babies coming from your own O x Bangi Haze cross :dance013:

I have seen pics of your O clone and your Bangi Haze clones flowering at the same time .... don't they look quite similar ? What do you think ?

Hi Dubi :) !

Thanks for your kind and encouraging words all along my friend :)

The Bangi Haze stems are sturdier but the O and Bangi Haze clones are indeed very hard to differentiate before they start flowering... ;)

Then, although it doesn't really show on the pics, the O has shorter and slightly curling hair (closer to BH1 pheno) and around week 3 the bud leaves tend to also slightly curl downward.
She's also putting on resin faster (BH resin is stickier though) and is ripe about 3 weeks before the BH who keeps putting on weight longer (especially pheno 2 as the 1 is thinner). Could be a result of O's adaptation to the TMV cause she wasn't that early at the beginning... :)

Hey Dubi ! :)

Looks like BH 1 didn't like hearing me say she was late packing resin... ;)

Hey Nugg nice plant. I had those green veins on my first grow of BH I doubled up on microblast this year and haven't seen it yet. Are you planning to top yours? I took the top 5 inches off mine this week and plan to flower the clones to sex the batch before going into final pots.

Hey Rode, yes I topped it so I would have 2 main branches.

What's microblast?

Planning on LST 2.5 feet off ground horizontally like grapevine. need to keep low. I'll show pics once it gets going

I use Earth Juice Microblast Its got a lot of micro's in it I also upped the Calmag on the Bangi's as I read the veins darker could be either magnesium or calcium. Most folks say Mg. does it Whatever does it those two things got it cleared up for me. I'm sure someone on this thread has an idea.

I like the idea of running down low too it would help prevent wind damage I'm outdoors for this run testing to see if they will tolerate the PM that seems to cover this area in summer.:tiphat:

Hey brothers ! :)

My 2 Bangi Haze phenos definitely love calcium and happily drink the 10 % half skimmed milk spray i give them every 3 days to keep pests away. It's also very effective against many other things and a great calmag supplement that won't disturb your soil ph. :)
I stop it after the first week of real buds formation (before there's any resin) but a friend i gave the tip goes until week 3 without any problem and no impact on the taste :)

Exactly bro ! :)
I do it quite often so i stay between 5 and 10 % but if you do it once a week, 10 is perfect.
i use half skimmed but skimmed should do the trick for the calmag. For pests control, it's better to spray early morning.
A reaction between lactose and light produces a protein that kills soft belly insects cause they can't process it ;)

It's only day 33 but, certainly because of this year's tropical "winter" unusual humidity and warmth, we're having extremely heavy pests attacks. No way to spray milk, neem or anything so late in flo so if things don't calm down very soon we might have to harvest before full ripeness... It sure sucks but we've already tried to keep going in similar situations. It just gets worse and allows the critters to pass directly on the following batch...

There's many tropical downsides but it's one of the the worse !
You can grow all year long but you know that most (if not all...) harvests will fall short from your expectations. Thanks to the 11 hours days we're having, there's already some sticky pop corns we'll save to sample them but most of this run will go straight for cookies after trimming. Nothing too tragic, i'm flying on cookies from early morning to bedtime... ;)

Looking lovely and very uniform after just 33 days of flowering!
Excellent resin production on the ovaries, and they are barely reaching mid flowering, well done Sticky ;)

Those are Beauties Sticky. What bug do you have? I don't see damage here. After mine get sticky like that our bugs seem to stay off it.:tiphat:

I really don't deserve any credit. You and mother nature did it all my friend ! :)
I just hope she didn't do her part just to provide aphids and white flies with food...;)
Being favorite insects targets is another similarity shared by Bangi Haze and O...

Those are Beauties Sticky. What bug do you have? I don't see damage here. After mine get sticky like that our bugs seem to stay off it.

We have almost anything that can ruin a plant but at the moment it's mostly 3 different leaf miners species, aphids and white flies. Main problem is the sooty mould that develops on the honeydew left by these last two. For now it's still confined to the fan leaves but there's no way stopping it from spreading to the buds leaves. When i see that i can't help suffering for the poor plants, and it makes the drying tricky...
A few years ago, it was exactly like you say. There would be bugs but they would stop after plants started getting sticky. Things sure change brother, and in the tropics they change faster and rarely for the best...

Hopefully you can reach a full harvest SSat..!! Such great looking ladies, good luck brotherman..!!

Thanks a lot brother ! If it's not this harvest it will be the next... ;)

I cut the top five inches out of these babies a week ago to get two main stems. They get this dappled light till mid morning then get about 6 hours of full sun. I'm not expecting big bushes but these plants sure want to grow.

Looking great Sticky Sat, hope you can bring them to the finish line.

Im growing Bangi Haze outdoors this year at 42° N. Im hoping they dont go into late october/november as my weather isn't plant friendly that late into the year.
