Hi konopenko, good luck to your bangies 
Due some mishaps like horrible squashing accident down to 4 plants (still very accecptable 100% germ rate). Today I inspected them and pretty sure that I got 2 females and one very sweet smelling male (maybe bit ot that melony scent somewhere mentioned). One plant still doesn't tell. No pics of yet as they have been kept very small due space restrictions. They'll be my winter project.

BH are hardy plants for sure and bred in a moist and rainny northern country climate

Any updates from outdoor Bangi grows?
I started some June 1 and looks like they will be done Nov.1.
I expected them to start flowering earlier but maybe they have a longer time to reach maturity since they are sats?
that being said they are beautiful x-mas trees, 6+ feet anf the smell is somthng incredible, unlike anyother cannabis scent I've experienced; gots the inscency/hazy thing going with some strange floral/perfume scent, another smell that a guess pople have called melon or liqueur?? and than a sharp biting smell like some kind of astringent....crazy
I crossed my male with Sour Diesel, Chem D, and Freezeland bx....

the smell is very unusual, fresh, herbal, floral, nothing like i ve tried before. i cant wait to try her.
the trichromes only start to turm clowdy and very few amber.

You too! , quess the twins are common in them.
Got mine still in veg, did some training some time ago, by breaking couple of stems a bit, the smell left on my fingers was promising in aromas. Sweet and bit sour maybe? Hard to describe.
Sadly the male showed some pistils so it got tossed. 3 girlies still.

I guess we'll never know whether or not they were twins as nothing came up from three pots so it could have also been a potting mistake by me.
8 plants from 9 seeds anyway so I'm pleased with the germ ratio, saved 2 seeds for later.
unthing: Sorry to hear about the hermie male, but it's better to find out now and not after you've pollinated some girls so I guess it's not all bad. Do you still have seeds left? If they're still vegging you have time to pop some more and look for another male. Not that you asked for my advice or anything just a thought.
Good luck with the girls. I imagine you'll be getting a good yield after such a long veg.

I popped 4 seeds, got 6(!) seedlings, one was lost by accident, another one was a runt, the thing with male, and left with 3 girls still. 6 seeds left.
I really haven't vegged them properly for that long, kept them long in small pots and little light just because didn't have space. If there's any good to that I quess they quite sexually mature and switch quicly after lightcycle flipping.

Nice buds Satchy, bangi is good and resistant plant, but I found a place where guerillas find them selves hard to survive.
She fought like partizan, but mother nature was cruel. Cold and rainy fall turned all in brown, but bangi stands firm..
I had two bangies and one cought some mold in rainy september, buds were medium sized and frosty(one with zero mold).
Bangi ganja is potent and has special taste and smell. Effect is really in sativa way, this weed keeps you active for some time.

These were seeded in June 1, they were harvested on oct 15. I was hoping for more of an Oct.1 finnish, which I thnk is doable with clones or by seeding in March. These girls wanted to veg alot before they showed sex.
This plant has very high resistance to botrytis, and they resisted regular nighttime humidity around 85%. They got minimal botrytis while an ECSD next to them had to be picked 2 + weeks early due to the mold. There is very good trich coverage. The smell is hard to describe but itis dominated by a very nose piercing smell in the spectrum of leeks/garlic/onions with a uplifting component that is very fresh, as mentioned earlier above. Very unique.
Pre-smoke report:
I found some early samples to be a little racy and confusing, so I let the plant go to 25% clear 75% cloudy and she smoothed out to a very clear active sat buzz without raciness or paranoia. The buzz is unlike anything I've tried. Very clear and aware, seems like you notice every leaf the wind is rustling and sounds become very detailed. Powerful high without any bog down...upbeat and smooth sailing type energetic effect. Hope ya can see the pic
All in all I'm impressed! These are 7 gallon pots, I prefered the smaller pheno for its growth,earliness, and smell, but the more I sample the harder it is to choose betwen them. As you see they can become pretty thick.

Mine are indoors, so not too worried about the elements. I think I will flip the screens to 12/12 in a week or so.
