Hello dudes;

I'm gonna be growing some plants here in Galicia, at latitude 43º. This is my second grow ever; first been last summer with some autos. Results were not that good to be honest, but experience was acquired.

After much research, I decided to go with some feminized ACE seeds. And the chosen ones are:

* 3x Bangi Haze
* 2x PCK x Kali China(PCKC from now on) (originally they were 3 seeds, but I messed up 1. Totally my fault)
* 2x Malawi

I have trust in the Bangis and PCKCs to make it to the harvest in good conditions, and I have hope in the Malawis. With my 23 years of experience on this planet, I'm almost sure that this is not going to be the best summer ever, and weather forecasts agree with me so far. Let's hope this situation changes.

I will share most of my notes, but I have to translate them first (so if you detect any fails, let me know and I will try to improve [for example: at, in, on, verbal times... badly used], so I will try to update once every week (if it is not too much to handle).

The plants are on day 2, starting day 3 just now. I have them in 1-1'3L (not sure) little pots, with Composana Universal; I don't like the texture of the soil, therefore I will mix it with coco when the first transplant comes. The plan is to grow them in two different locations, starting them all off at Location#1, and then move some to Location#2:

Location#1 -> Genetics: 2xPCKC, 1xBH // Transplant plan: 1'3L to 3'25L to 10L
Location#2 -> Genetics: 2xMalawi, 2xBH // Transplant plan: 1'3L to 5L to 17L+

As you can see I'm not sure how the last transplant at Location#2 will be. 17L minimum since those are the pots I already have, but I don't know... maybe they can be placed in 25L. I expect your opinion on this subject.

The issue I had last year was Calcium and Magnesium defficiency (and probably PH, but i'm not sure as I cannot measure it), because my water comes out at 25-34ppm and 6'5-6'8ph, and I thought that the fertilizers I was using had that covered, but I was dead wrong. This year that won't happen again (maybe some PH issues, because I still cannot measure it), but i will try to not overdoit either.

Well, with that said I leave you with my first notes, covering the germination and 2 first days of life:

______________________________________________________________________________________________________
00:10 ->

Bangi Haze: 3 seeds soaking in water.
Malawi: 2 seeds soaking in water. One of them sank right away.
PCKC: 3 seeds soaking in water. One of them sank right away.

17:00 -> All the seeds were placed in the "ovni" system.

| 04/June: |
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
5:45 -> 7 of the 8 seeds are showing the ¿radicle? already. Only one BH left, that is starting to crack.

| 05/June: |
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
05:00 -> The two Malawis, two of the Bangis and two PCKCs were placed in the pots. One of the bangis is a little bit late, but it's showing a really nice, thick radicle.
The other PCKC suffered an incident, caused by me. She fought hard to live, but I had to end her suffering. Don't judge me, I feel bad enough already.

| 06/June: |
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
00:15 -> The third Bangi (the late one) was moved to soil. She is showing some strenght!!

14:30 -> One of the Malawi, Awi to be precise (Malawi#2), just sprouted. Mala (Malawi#1) is still undergound.
BH#2 wants to sprout, but not there yet.
PCKC#2 is showing her head, PCKC#1 is underground.

19:15 -> Moved to a place with more sunlight.

23:00 -> Back inside. Mala is trying to look at the sun, but the shell it's still on her way, almost there baby, c'mon! Awi is all alright, showing off in front of her sister.

BH#2 sprouted, but the shell was glued to her, so I decided to go ahead and remove it with all the care a newbie can have BH#1 is almost there, and BH#3 nothing yet (but almost)

PCKC#2 is out. PCKC#1 is almost there.

| 07/June: | (Day 1)
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
16:00 -> All the seedling are out! Even BH#3, that was the last to be planted.

16:45 -> Moved to a place with more sunlight. Soil is a little wet. I will water them tomorrow morning, probably

7 day mark update:

| 09/June: | (Dday 3)
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
8:30 -> They go Outside.

19:30 -> It's raining a little, and the soil it's really wet, so I'm gonna move them inside. There is almost no sun, and it's not like i'm drepriving them of rainwater, since next week rains for sure and that will be their watering.

* Max Temp ------- : 24'1º
* Min Temp -------- : 14º
* Hours of Sunlight : 7
* General Weather : Sunny morning until 12-12:30.Then clouds and sun, and after grey clouds that end up dropping some rain. Wind was soft and nice, fresh in the morning and warmer later; intensity increases at 18:30 aprox.

| 10/Junio: | (Día 4)
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
12:30 -> They go outside, too cloudy and rainy until now. Stems are really soft; i'm guessing it's because all this humidity.

23:59 -> Go back inside. The Malawis are still too wet, the BH's more or less, and the PCKC's are the dryest ones. I don't get this difference this early, maybe it's because the sun don't hit them all the same.

Stems are harder now, except the Malawi ones.

BH#2 seems not to be growing properly.

* Max Temp ------- : 25º
* Min Temp ------- : 15º
* Direct Sunlight : 4'5
* General weather : Really really grey, rainy morning. Sun and clouds from 12-12:30 onwards. Wind was a little bit stronger today, but nothing too much.

| 11/Junio: | (Día 5)
______________________________________________________________________________________________________

7:20 -> They go outside.

19:00 -> SOil is getting dry, at least!

23:45 -> Back inside.

* Max Temp ------- : 26º
* Min Temp ------- : 15º
* Hours of SUnlight : 8'5
* General weather : SUnny day with almost no clouds until 19:00, then sky gets grey. Wind softer than normal.

| 12/Junio: | (Día 6)
______________________________________________________________________________________________________

7:45 -> Go outside.

23:00 -> Back to inside.

* Max Temp ------- : 23º
* Min Temp ------- : 14º
* Hours of Sunlight : 2'5
* General weather : Super cloudy day with some rain. Afternoon with some sunrays, but very little. Wind as strong as the day before yesterday.

| 13/Junio: | (Día 7)
______________________________________________________________________________________________________

7:45 -> Outside. A lot of clouds and some dew atm.

00:30 -> Back inside. Plants seem to be pretty dry, so maybe tomorrow i will pulverice them or something. I'm waiting for some rain.

* Max Temp ------- : 23º
* Min Temp ------- : 13º
* Hours of Sunlight : 5-6
* Overall weather : Very cloudy morning and intense mist, also some dew. Rest of the day was cloudy with some sunny moments. The wind was pretty strong today.

As you can see, BH#2 is not developing how she is supossed to. She seem alright healthwise, but she is not showing any signs of progress, unlike the rest of the plants. Let's see what happens with this one.

Seem to be coming along nicely. Just chopped my first Bangi Haze. Buds were firm and greasy. Lemon lime with a hint of muskyness

Hey Holeshot. Yep, I've seen your thread. The Bangi you show there looks good, I hope my BH3 will be something like yours :p. I'm also waiting for the smoke report haha.

Today my babys are sleeping outside, so I will update tomorrow with pics.

Well, I was writing my post, then I pressed the back button and now I have nothing. I'm not in the mood to rewrite it again so:

Plants are OK, day 23 now. A little small and yellow because they have been on 1'3L untill yesterday and they needed food and space. I couldn't ransplant them earlier, but they show nice roots despite lack of food and excess of heat.

Now I have: BH1, BH3, PCKC1, PCKC2, Mala, Awi, Violeta2.

BH2, the mutant, is dead. She didn't make it. And 2 of my violetas were murdered by birds.

Overall weather: A fuckton of Sun lately, with no rain and almost no clouds. With a superstrong wind all day and night long. Temps are crazy high where I have the plants, hitting 34º-36º more often than I would like; fortunately, the strong wind comes from the North, and it's cold, so that helps.

I will try to take upload pics soon.

OK, so I have a problem with the birds. They like aluminium paper too much I think, so I need to think a way to cover the pots. Maybe white paper will do.

Here are all the plants, and then the PCKC's and Malawis.

As you can see they are not as good as they could, let's see how they develop.

And now the Bangis. As you can see they are different from eachother, and I think that they don't smell the same either (maybe too soon yet). Maybe different phenos? But I read that Bangi Hazes don't differ too much from one another so, what do you think?

All the plants are in their final locations right now. Here a pic of all of them together for the last time:

todasultima.jpg

I also LST'ed all of them. The PCKCs 2 days ago, and the others today. The PCKC's were the easiest ones, the others were a little bit trickier because of the stems.

The babys are 30 days old now. Here pics of the PCKCs after 1 day of LST. They are pretty small for their age I think, but they still have like another 3-4 weeks (by the end of this month) before flowering, right?

PCKC#1

pckc1lst.jpg

PCKC#2

pckc2lst.jpg

The pictures of the other plants will have to wait.

And one more thing. I have a streetlight iluminating my bitches at location#2, it is like 3-4m tall and it's about 7m away from them. Do you think I will have trouble with it? The light it's orange and there is no obstacles between the streetlight and my plants.

About the weather: Pretty good so far. 7 to 9 (I'm not really sure) hours of direct sunlight for the Malawis and Bangis (location#2), and 10-12'5 for the PCKCs (location#1). Wind is strong in both places, but specially in location#1. Location#1 also have high temperatures.

That's about it I think.

Well, I don't have phone anymore. That means all my photos are gone. I will update when I get my new phone.

Fuck my life.

Well, I came from location2 a while ago. I've seen the plants and tbh I fucked up 2 of them by lst them. One is BH3, she is developing super bad, considering how she was growing before; the other I don't remember now, but I think is Awi. I will try to take pictures with a friend's phone the next time.

On the other hand, Mala it's BEATIFULL. I'm in love. She is also LST'ed and she is growing nicely so far. BH1, the one that looked meh, it's now also beatifull; I des-LST her the other day, because she was not liking it, and now it's beautifull, with super thin leaves (and BH3 have thicker leaves). It's a shame that I cannot make clones of her and Mala, because I love how they look and grow so far.

On the other location, the PCKC are doing fine. They are LST'ed and PCKC1 is gorgeus. PCKC2 is also pretty, but smaller. As I said, they get a little rekt with the extreme heat, so they have burns on the leaves. But so far so good. I don't look so excited about this ones because I see them every day, and the others every 3 to 4 days. But one of my fauvorites is PCKC1 hands down.

I really really want to show how they are doing. They are all small, but man, the satisfaction from growing this it's a lot more than from growing autos.

Welcome vcasqui :)

Thanks for sharing with us your second growing experience.
Please, feel free to ask any doubt you could have.

Bangi Haze and PCK x Kali China should finish in your climate without much troubles. Wish you also have a good October so Malawi can also finish there properly.

The street lights could be a problem in flowering (night light contamination), it will delay the flowering, producing less dense and leafier flowers with lesser resins.
If you have the chance try to provide the plants full darkness at night when the flowering begins in August.

Best wishes!

Thanks dubi. I imagined something like that would happen. But the thing I fear the most is if they herm because of the light. I will have to find somewhere to place them over night.

And now:

I just transplanted both PCK x Kali China to a 11l container. I'm a little embarrased to show them because they are nothing like the ones in other threads, but well, I have to learn at some point, so here they are:

pckc1-1.jpg
pckc1-2.jpg

pckc2-1 (2).jpg
pckc2-2 (2).jpg

Day 45 now. For what I've seen, they are supersmall for their age. They have been on 3lt pots untill today tho.

Problems so far:

-Way too much time in small pots.
-Not enough food I think (caused, to certain point, by the small pots).
-Temps of 40º+ where they are (in a roof).
-Maybe I didn't give them enough water this last days.
-LST poorly done.
-Birds eating some leaves, throwing the pots to the ground and then digging into the surface of the soil, so some roots got exposed and I had to fill the pots with more soil every 3 to 5 days. (I don't have a single bug in this plants yet tho...)

To-do list for next year so far:

-Transplant the plants faster.
-Water them better.
-Improve my LST skills.
-Get a camera.

I will take pics of the BH's and Malawis the next day, but they are similar to the PCKC's. I will also transplant them, 1xBH and 1XMalawi to 25l, and the other Bh and Malawi to 17l. Maybe it's overkill, but those are the pots I have now.

Besitos guapetones.

Hello guys, long time no see haha.

First, the Malawis and Bangis:

IMG_20160902_202708.jpg

IMG_20160902_202727.jpg

IMG_20160902_202746.jpg

IMG_20160902_202857.jpg

IMG_20160902_202824.jpg

Those plants are the ones who were under the streetlight. I did my best to give them the max amount of sun I could, while trying to keep them away from the streetlight. I cannot do that anymore, so now they are all day where they used to sleep (away from the light), but they get like 3 hours less of sun.

An now my little PCKC's in 12L pots. They are around 64-67cm:

IMG_20160908_185007.jpg

IMG_20160908_185122.jpg

IMG_20160908_185400.jpg

IMG_20160908_185436.jpg

I love this ones. They are quite tuff. Next year I will buy another pack if they are still available.

Should I try to trim them a little bit? Maybe those big leaves are blocking the sun? Also, as you can see, my LST skill are not the best at all... the ladys are not very even xD But anyways, I'm pretty proud and happy.

The Malawis and Bagis are between 62cm (the shortest) and 80cm (the tallest), or something like that.
