Yeah I've seen the plantations in costa, rows and rows of dead rotting banana trees. The kind of pesticides they spray on those trees its no wonder some diesease came and wiped them out. It REALLY sucks to be the guy spraying the pesticideeasydisco said:

Ive been growing the Arcata for about 2 years now... I love it..... Great High, Smell,taste Along with that "sparkly Look".
Ive also Sampled some TW crosses such as TRC's Texas mystic ( TW x Swt#3) also tried their TW x Blue 1.
IMO the Tw crosses didn't come close to comparing to the Trainwreck. Don't get me wrong They were good smokes but it just seems that TW is best left alone. Im not saying that this TW x bannana wouldn't be good, Im just speaking from my experience.
For the Past 2 years the Arcata was my #1 smoke, Untill i broke into the Realm of the OG kush...

From what I've heard there is at least 2 or 3 different cuts that are being passed around as the 'real deal' TW. And that's not including the S1s that also get passed off as the real deal.
Maybe nspecta can shed some light on the story, as I don't wanna spread any mis info.
Even if there's one real TW it sure doesn't mean everyone will like it.
Personaly I think the AE-77 Cali-O is mediocre at best, and far from elite worthy, btu I have friends who love it to death. Same story with many other 'elites'.

Your 100% right Mr.Bong, OG beats Bananas everyday in my humble opinion. OG is up there with East Coast Sour Diesel in the unique department, they are both really good. I had some OG Kush from Dante420143's SPC in santa cruz, that bud was bomb.

I ran some of Motarebel's OGers Kush S1s and have a similar take as you did with the Trainwreck S1s... yet I'd love to have a shot at the real deal OG Kush... 9 out of 10 satisified tokers are seldom wrong about something... Trainwreck is in the same class.

Let me guess, your referring to buds found @ the hortipharm dispensary in Santa Barbara? That Bunanoo, bunanu etc. is Bannana X Goo cross, as told to me by the owner of Hortipharm. Hortipharm actually released cuts of it about 4 months back or so, and I grew two of 'em out. Buds looked much like lou's picture, grew spear like buds covered in a white trichome frost, fiery orange hairs, and an overall pale yellowish appearance. It is a perfect SOG strain, was also very resistent to spider mites and stress, and my first plant (of 8 diff. medical strains) to finish. Cured buds smelled like banana-mango chutney, with an undertone of the same indescribable scent found in Green Crack.

I got some banana going right now, and I can attest to the beautiful smell. I've never smelled anything so fruity before, so I can't really pinpoint the smell. Sorry. I'm so used to skunk that this is a delight. She is putting on some serious weight near the end, almost makes me think she will go over 8 weeks. She just started week 6. Got the cuttings from a reliable friend. Enjoy.
