Will post pics of the two flowering mums after the holiday break.
They are now in flush, low ppm's till chop. Lots of color in the
fading fan leafs, trichs all milky and frosty on the buds.

Very sharp aromas, sweet cherry with a bit of fuel undertone.

When these two are chopped I will focus on the F2's, popping
more beans to add to the selection.

Will BX the most awesome girls to the sensi star x nycd dad.

Cajun style.

Yup, nice to have control on the genes, to witness the
process.

The F2 will also be documented here. I have to admit
knowing one of the parents' lineage is helpful.

The vintage female parent will also be flowered and
documented here, I want to share with all what the
gene pool produced in 1979, lol.

What used to be thought of as frosty is no longer true.

But frosty enough, yup.

Looks potent stuff,! In my limited experience the dark looking almost black plants are always potent to smoke.

The plants want to get chopped, I'll oblige tomorrow or Friday.

I have also started 4 beans of the F2, two of each of the different
F1 mums that I have dismissed. All pollinated with the same male,
at the same time over this summer.

I will post progress of at least six F2 plants, two of each of the three
F1 mums. All males will get tossed, and I will continue to germ beans
to get the females I want.

Congratulations

Thank you!

Beatiful buds! Looks like quite alot?
Hope they smoke really well.

They are on day three of drying, a couple more days then into the jar.
I'll sample some and report soon after that, although I have been enjoying
this cut for some time, I never get tired of it.

It is a decent enough yield for me, low watts and they were only
minimally trained. Maybe 30-35 grams total dry, well see.

I have some F2's of mum 3 rooting, won't be long.
As soon as they root, in go the producer of the cuts.

Got the old mum plant trained for flower, will flip her
as soon as she recovers, not the best case, but she
won't mind.

So I will be running grandma and grand kids together.

lol.

The F2 cuttings are rooting and the new seedlings are growing.

Ambient temps too low, I usually don't start seedlings or
new cuttings with these temps, but I believe the plants
will take off as they get root system established.

Pics soon.

Oh, and by the way, I have tested the yield from the recent
harvest and was pleased with the quality of the smoke.

Only been sweating a few days, the character really comes out after
a month of cure.

Here's the F2 from the F1 mum 03, labeled F2 03 01:

Droopy leaves, under higher watts and warmer temps I bet the fan leaves
would be quite large.

No pre flower on this one yet, but still in veg until I make some room
in the flower box. If it is male, discard.
