The new thunk pheno shows pistols, 3 for 3.

Likely the next 10 will be male, lol.

On another note, the white rhino x white rhino cross has proven to be a classic day ender.

That's good, I wanted something like this for myself and friends who prefer to be blinded.

Purple plants too, nice.

As I thrive on a challenge, have decided to make another
cross.

Next up will be thunk x White Rhino.

Stay tuned.

Great diary. Inspiring!

Are you using coco hempy? What soil mix and nutrients would you use for a 1 liter 12/12 from seed?

I grow coco hempy, with DE in the bottom.

6/9 GH flora micro and bloom, with nitric pH down,
SM 90, and ProTect too.

Bleach added every 3 days at 0.4 ml per gal.

Filtered tap water, 0.1 EC.

I start my seeds in a light soil mix in 2oz cups and up pot to
16oz, or 32oz pots in coco, sifted and pasteurized.

It's just that simple, lol

looks like your still rockin and rollin with ur plats.

Yup.

Rocking the thunk cross and rolling the F1 and F2 bag seed back cross.

Getting some good plants, and learning to choose
the stash that has the variety to keep me and mine stoked.

I enjoy the white rhino for it's sedative qualities, new to me,
and quite nice.

Stay tuned.

What temperature do you heat your coco to pasteurize?

In a rice cooker, 212F for 10-12min.

It's the same as nuking them from orbit,
the most recent intrusion was from light soil mix
that was infected with root aphids.

What could possibly go wrong, I said.

Any media since then is cooked, no exception.

In flower is the two thunk crosses from cuttings,
the lime, and root beer.

New additions, some fresh thunk cross plants and
a few F1 back crossed to the Southern Lights.

Mostly the new plants show female with two maybe boys.

Three F2 03 02 for head stash.

Summer's coming, so I need to plan on pausing flowering
new plants. Cut off is now, and anything I start will veg
until fall.

Plants in flower:

The three on the left are the F2 03 02.

The two dead center previous thunk crosses.

Two on the right, a new F1 back cross to SL,
and a new thunk x SL.

The other new thunk x SL went hermi:

Skunk scent, good to know it's there.

Hollow stem too, lack of boron, lol.

DC,
I'm curious if you've seen any intersex issues with your thunk(s)? I've run four without issue - which is somewhat surprising given the Thai heritage.

Do you think it might have come from the SL side?

I only have the one thunk, and she is proven female,
no preflower in veg, even after months.

I've never seen this full hermi trait until this cross.

A little disappointing, but I'll deal.

The first two thunk cross plants are easily true female.
The cuts from cuts flower true, no seeds or bananas.

Third run in the cab with those two, all good.

My cabinets are light tight, nutes all the same,
no variation in the routine, so my thoughts on
the hermi are leaning to the Thai in the thunk as
none of the other plants crossed with the SL have
gone hermi.

No new popping on the thunk cross for now,
as the bagseed is the focus this season,
six popped of the F2 03 02 x SL to see
what's what.

The root beer pheno of the thunk cross is very nice.

The lime pheno of the thunk cross has great mouth,
but potency and effect is less than the original.

I'll keep both of those phenos to make deeper crosses, later.

I wonder if you’d see herms in a deeper sift of the S1s, or if they require genes from both sides of the cross. Man, too bad the intersex trait is not down to a single gene!

That root beer pheno sounds like a real winner. And rare overall, too. Glad you found one!

Good luck with the F2 crosses. Looking forward to seeing what those do for you.

I've flowered a few of my thunk S1 and no herms,
shelved them for future grows, mostly cat piss, and
lower potency than the original with the same long
flower time.

Thunk has much breeding potential.

The remaining F1 back cross in flower is full on chocolate.

I never expected that.

The root beer thunk cross leans hermi, so I will flower the
two cuts that remain, and cob it. She done, no more cuts.

The lime pheno thunk cross remains true female, and will
keep her to flower again.

Six seedlings of the F2 03 02 x SL ready for transplant.

Rooted cuttings of all the parent stock to keep them going
through the summer heat.

Pics when I get around to it.

Here's the trimmed lime Thunk cross:

Chopped the day before this pic, and still wet.

Here's the root beer Thunk cross yield:

This one has a couple seeds, but I'm reluctant to cull the
cuts in veg because of the root beer smell.

Both these phenos flowered under 80 days, some amber,
which I seldom have with the thunk P1.
