Bag Seed Babies! In Need of NUTES? Transplant?

Hey all, and a huge hello to Stitch!

This is pretty much my first real grow when it comes to having a garden. I really feel like my little plants need just some like ¼ strength nutes, they are at week 4 from when they popped, but I don’t want to newb mother them and kill em! Also, do you think I need a transplant?

To Stitch!

Hope you saw the update on my once sick Sativa thread
( http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=70837 ) , check out the flowering pics!!! your advice worked wonders!

My plants simply love you, thanks tons for your advice, I would even love some more if you could spare a minute! These seeds first hatched 9/22-25/07 and today is about 1 day less than 4 weeks. The strains are all bag seed, although all was simply chronic stuff. I feel like I should start possibly feeding my plants, although they are so small still! It is amazing though, these T5's have just made the internodal growth tremendous! They are so short and squat but so bushy, even the clones are showing tremendous growth both horizontally (side branching) and vertically! The bag seed have just really slowed down on their vertical growth though! Clones have not though (ive been feeding them with off and on ¼ str Vegging nutes); they are just getting closer and closer to those T5’s.

4 24W T5 Floro's
Temp Ranges from 74F to 62F.
(At night gets cold, probably will start closing the window, had issues with flowering chamber heat earlier so left window open)
PH is not a problem, the BioCanna line takes care of all your Ph issues as long as you stick all organic. Amazing stuff supposedly!

Do they need nutes? (I'd say a 1/4 dose of veg with...BioCanna - Vega (Vegging) (3.5 - 1.0 - 5.5) 8ml/g)

Root Bound? Not expert enough to know anything here…

I took some pics of the roots, cause I'm not sure or not to classify this as root bound, honestly, in doesn’t look that bad in real life, they seem to be able to possibly grow for another 1-2 weeks like those pots, I'm totally not sure here though. Hope these are good enough.

This is Picture #1 (above)'s roots. This is Big Bud X Purps

This is picture #2 (above)'s roots. This is an Unknown Bag Seed

Really hope someone could help me out! It just seems like they stop seemed to be growing vertically anymore!

no.1 or 2,look more lik a watering problem, more then a transplant problem...might stop the food on it and check watering..

Actually I havent given them any food, nutes or otherwise. I feel like they needs some. Watering is done till it can be seen coming out bottom of pot. Then I wait till soil is dry to re-water. No nutes have ever been used on em. Saw in another post plants that looked like mine and I was wondering if they needed nutes.

Glad I could be of some assistance :)

they are not rootbound -rootbound but since they have slowed down they will be soon so transplant them but do not give them a huge pot that could contribute to overwatering them.....

Yes they do need ferts now; yup they are hungry ya gotta feed them babies :D
How often are you watering your plants?

I am watering these guys probably like every 2-3 days. Just plain tap water. I basically water till it comes a lil out the bottom, then wait till soil is dry with the finger in the soil test to se when they need water.

I think i'll start tomorrow and give them a 1/4 str. Vegging solution.

Thanks for the reply!

Oh, and how long do you think they can stay in those pots? I have 1gallon pots imma upgrade them to next, but have limited space to put these larger pots.

I would not let them stay in there for more than a 2 weeks now that you will be giving them food; cause by 2 weeks they will be rootbound.
