Guys i need help ASAP?
I guess ima b in tha market for a new RO water system my water is crap for quite a few grows now ive been buying my water plants grew amazing. Long story short im looken to get a good filter anyone suggest a cheap in price RO system?

Second run small leaves again, GG#4 plants are vibrant but small leaves compared to my buddy who has same, I'm using 6.2 adjusted well water, he is using city water, I have 800w led he has 1000 hid. Both using roots organic soil. Wtf any input would be appreciated

Well water might have undesirable bacteria and other critters in it.Once you go R/O you will never have problems with water again.

Agreed, also it might have to much of a certain macro mineral that could be causing some sort of lockout.

have you tried buying some store bought water (the shit from costco 10L is only like 1 dollar or so, I think, correct if im worng someone please). Water with the store bought stuff and see how the plants react before forking out hundreds of dollars on a RO system, atleast that way you know for sure its the Water and not your medium/nutes/evnironment.

whats the ppm of your well water? small leaves sounds like a symptom of the light being to close. with what info you gave.

Like others said, it could be too much of something in your water. We have heavy iron and calcium, and I have been in parts of Florida where the water stank from sulfur.

GG4 is a very lite feeder. Start at 300 PPM or little less. End at around 600 PPM. That is the .5 scale, so .6 EC to 1.2 EC. I have seen OG's require twice that feed.

I know times are tough but jesus is a couple hundred really that bad ? my cellphone bill for two months cost that much. I don't think you could even find a room for rent in my state for the price of the filter lol when did anyone say this hobby was cheap ?


PS: I triple the Hydrologic RO have had mine for around a year and love it.

Got 1 i paid $70 for it had it for a couple months now shesa runnin fine! Plus i got too many hobbies an i dont wanna work for a livin jus to do hobbies still have a life i like to enjoy.

You won't be sorry with the Hydrologic. Take it from a Floridian with mineral laden well water. I'd go with Cannabuilding's idea first though. Be sure it is indeed your water that is the issue.

Yea its my water, this is my second batch it stunted, from tha tap i get a TDS of 380-400 and a PH of 7.0-7.5 now the PH ive worked with before an tha ladies were fine but tha TDS was around 150 then tha city did something and my TDS came to the 380-400 and for awhile my PH was about 8.0 i got a RO system that i paid $70 for and it works fine if it crashes or stops workin then ill spend tha money for something else. They sell those (hydrologic) units at tha local hydro store so its no big deal to run an grab one 10 mins away.

Glad you've found the problem, Make sure to give all your pots a good flush with that RO water (just incase there is a build up of minerals from the well water).
