Back to where I started (with autos)

Well its been a long road. First attempt back when I was about 21 was just some bag seed and never did any research and didn't know shit about switching light cycles( no wonder I never got anything out of them). So next I got some lower ryder 2 and made some seed and got some great shit. about a year later moved in with my at that time gf and we had a nice set up for me to have a veg and flower space and grew plenty. Moved out quit for a while and grew some med for my bro with more med problems then an episode of house. I have some troubles with a filter falling and gave up on the rest of reporting on that.

Well now I own a home and decided to get back in and autos seemed to fit best as I only have a flower space and no where to keep moms. Most of this will be going to my brother anyway so trying to keep it somewhat pure and simple.

So heres the line up
Soil: FF ocean forrest with extra perlite.
Light: taotronics 324w led( waiting for killawat for actual read out)
Nutes: general organics + alaskan moorbloom and some big ups powder
Container: 3 gal grow bag
Space 30x30inx6ft
Stank: 4in inline fan with filter
Also bubbler in water res for added oxygen. ph pen for testing water and solution.

Genes: this round is blue diesel, silver bullet, think different, big marley, auto maria II and mega bud.

Here we are just about 3 weeks in don't count on too many updates but feel free to ask any questions.

3 gal bag, the plants are with you for 2 months max, budget 1 gallon per month, with such a short plant, you won't need any extra feed/nutes

Well a week makes a big difference. checked out the update. I got a killawatt and the reading is only 180 for my unit but Im hoping to clear 5 ozs but well see what happens in the end. next round I may go dwc.

Yep, bigger pots, great light, minimal bloom nutes, water only last few weeks = bountiful auto harvest!!

Yup. My limited experience is that autos love warmth, long days, intense light & pots bigger than you think they need.

When I finish with Royal Flush, I have seeds for Spyder. Think I'll make a seed run. Then I'm re-doing the space while electric rates are highest in the summer. That's today's plan, anyway.

I'll bet yours do wonderfully outdoors near my old home town. The summer sun is spectacular down your way.

Yeah, Jhhnn, have had great results down here as well as 4 yrs prior in Northern NM. Once late spring and long summer hits....autos thrive in blissful wonder and awesomeness!!! :dance013:

@thepotanist....the strains you mentioned will be large autos...allow room (grow pot/bag) for them to have great root structure and space to fill out.

Personally, with the space you have (30"x30" x 6ft), no more than 3 grow bags at a time. Or do 2, then as those are starting to bud, incubate and start another one. Having successive crops going on is really cool....as 1-2 are finishing, others will take it's "grow space".

Figure on at least 80 days for most....and probably stretching into the 90 day mark. The TD I did was close to 80 days, not the 63 it says on the website/package. I've found commercial breeders tend to minimize the amount of days....so plan on extending 1-3 weeks.

I think you're mostly right about maturation times, with the caveat that strong lighting indoors hastens maturity. The little darlings are built for speed, so when conditions are right they sprint to the finish line. Both Samsara Ultraviolet & the un-memorable Buddha Syrup were clearly done at 70 days under a dual arc 1000W lamp.
