Hows it going everyone, first of all I'd like to say thanx heaps for the help in the thread: First grow, little help plz.

If it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't be here again with another problem :p
My baby is going great now, at least it was untill a few days ago.
It's now been in flowering just over 2 weeks and has some pretty decent buds already, Ph level is checked and fixed daily so I know thats fine.
But my poor girl has yellowing leaves on the top leaves of the bottom stems (eg ones that are around the sides that dont get alot of light) and its slowly creeping around the plant, also the biggest tip on top has yellow leaves comming out of it, the leaves are yellowing from the inside out, have pics but uploads aren't working for some reason :(. If you need more info, ask away, I'll try find somewhere to host my pics if need be. thanx again Justaguy

well.. yellowing of lower fan leaves in flowering is common. deos it look like a nitrogen def?
wat are the "top leaves" your referrin to? bud/fan leaves?

On the top bud its the bud leaves, the rest are fan leaves that are yellowing, my first thought was nitrogen deficency or possibly sulpher def, if the leaves dont recover how do I tell if its fixed? also does that mean I'll have to remove the affected bud?

I've already been through that multiple times and am not sure what it is, I still think nitrogen is the go, but thought I'd check before doing anything drastic, should I mix fish emultion in with what Im currently using?

I'm using a 2 part dutch master formula Part A contains 2.4-0-2 and part b contains 0.6-1-4 hope this helps

really cant say....are the leaves more like fading to pale green then yellow or are they like burning at the tip and brown brittle spots over the leaves as they turn yellow?

I have nitrozym but It says its recommended not to use after it starts budding. All I have Is fish emultion I think, I put some in with the food yesterday, will see how it goes I guess, How do I tell if its fixed or not?

The yellowing will stop progressing into other lower leaves... the yellow leaves will not recover and will turn necrotic and fall off if the leaves are sucked dry. If only partial of the leave is yellow and you fix the nitrogen problem; then only the part that is yellow will turn necrotic and crispy.

So when you add it to your bloom fert add 1 or 2 tsp per gallon of water everytime you mix and feed your plants.

So look around the area of the nitrogen deficiency lower to middle part of the plant; when the yellowing stops you know you have added the right amount.

Hmm it's only been a day and it looks like its coming good, all I gave it was fishemultion and it seems to actually be making the yellow go away not just die off, does that meana different def?

The yellowing will not come back but the plants will have more vigor is what you are seeing :)

All flowering plants need some nitrogen up untill the point you start flushing cause near harvest you want to flush and the yellowing is needed to ensure all the nturients are being flushed from the plant for harvest.
