Fed all 750 plants yesterday with some sensi grow. Took most of the day by myself but it wasn't too bad. Took the day off from everything. It was too damn hot today. Got to about 95 outside and over 100 in a couple rooms so i shut down all the intake fans and it dropped to the mid 90's.
I also saw some mites on a few plants so tonight the affected will get a spray of mighty wash. Another treatment of azamax well be applied in the next couple days. In hoping the 2nd dose, along with the wash, keeps them gone.
The scrog of gdp is getting taller, not touching the screen yet but it'll get there. On the other side on the room, the sour d is ready for its screen and some training. The scrog of assorted genetics (gg #4, blue dream, ect) is filling in great.
I'll post some pics in a couple days...
After the mighty wash treatment the other day I sparingly watered the one in need and let the others dry up a bit to prepare them for the azamax soil drench I have them today. A few were wilted but nothing died. Going to let them dry up almost to the point of wilting to make sure the roots pull in the treatment. Other than that, there isn't much going yet.
I still have a few 2x4s to set up for the screens in 2 rooms yet and to install a 10" fan for an exhaust in another room, along with a new set up for the lights so I can drop em and then it'll be transplant time and time to start flowering what we got. The plan is to stagger the rooms to harvest once a week.
I'll try and take a few pics tonight of something. Keep em green guys.
Pics from last night of the gg #4 bd and gsc scrog, but things got shuffled today It looks like a real grow now.
Picked up more azamax today for the mites. That shit is getting expensive. But we have 2 more rooms to treat, only one has shown activity recently. I'm hoping we'll be ok soon.
Did about 100 transplants today and fed a couple rooms. Installed 2 screens today (the sd screen in the gdp room, and the 2nd in with the varied genetics). We also moved some sd into the room with the gg #4, bd, and gsc. I'll post pics how it's looking now a bit later.
We are pulling air from the roof for our intakes. Had we had the funds or materials and started fresh I'd have it so the lights were air cooled and scrubbed before it got sent out, but we kinda took over this spot from someone who didn't want to do it anymore and wasn't producing anyway.
It was set up like this and we didn't touch much before the plants came in. So we took it and ran with it. Should've done a lot different and planned more before the plants stated piling back in but we didn't and are dealing with it now.
Ideally, after this starts producing regularly we are going to get drip lines for everything. We have a long wand and sump pump to help right now so it's not bad. The clones get hand watered so that's not as much fun with 400+ to do but i usually have help.
I want dedicate a room to a vert grow but money is tight. Whatever we spend now comes out of our pockets later, so we are keeping it cheap until the 1st room is done and then we'll reevaluate the designs of the rooms. Thanks for checking out the grow.
Yeah it is now. The mighty washing days are done. They are too big and too many to spray. That's why we went with azamax. It's cheap-ish compared to the top shelf stuff we'll buy if they persist the next two weeks. They are going to be the biggest problem in terms of effecting our weight. We've gotten a good handle on them to this point but I dont want to let my guard down until they are bug free. If we have to spend the $ on the expensive shit we will but right now we want to see if the azamax can do it. A systemic approach is our best bet right now. Thanks for stopping in...
Today we sent 200 clones (sd, gdp, and some gsc) to another 4 lighter and transplanted them into 1 ga containers.
Yesterday was an azamax day for the untreated gdp and sd scrog. Next step in the battle is going to be predator mites. My theory is that the predator mites can get rid of the general population while the azamax takes effect. After that, we'll stick with predators during flower if they resurface.
Today was the day we get the last of the other guys rooms, so we are cutting and trimming his stuff tonight and cleaning the room up to avoid the infestation in that room. Nothing like cleaning up someone else's shit. It's my 1st battle with mites and I've seen the damage they are capable of. I'm not going to let them win. It effects my wallet too much.
Yea ill be checking you out. I may need to mimic what your do to fix your issues because i have similar temps.
i think the only thing saving my girls now are the air pots, they always seem to be cool, and i thing a little H2O2 in every watering helps keep the rootzone cool.
We have the materials to set this room up the right way after his stuff dries. It was getting hot as hell in there and we have air cooled hoods (all the same size ducting for once)and a bunch of 6" ducting laying around so I can do this room right. Our other rooms are mostly dependent on outside air temps. It's been cool here except for the occasional hot day. Those days if it's too hot I have no problem shutting down the intake fans and a few lights. 2 of us live at the spot so it's easy for us to notice the changes before things get crispy usually.
Today was a water day and transplanted about 30 plants to 2 gallon containers. A couple more days and we'll be cleaning, filling, and flipping the room we just harvested.
I saw a plant we are forcing to sex with some mites and took a shop vac to them. It got the webs and spiders off but fucked up a few leaves. No big deal in the grand scheme of things. I'll post some pics once we flip something and gets some bud forming.
Yesterday was a feed day. Everything is looking very good. We are flipping some rooms soon, so today everything we have got a neem oil soaking. The gdp was defoliated as well to help with the neem treatment. The scrogs are filling in nicely, and we have a bunch that are getting tall that need to be screened and trained soon before they get out of hand. Pics when there is anything interesting to show... Hopefully in a week or two they will be something nice to post.
Bombed 3 rooms and flipped em. 16 lights total on 12/12. Screens are up in all 3 rooms, 6 total screens. I'd say we have close to 150 plants starting flower today.....the fun is about to begin.
