B.O.G and S.O.G what does it all mean

been reading some grows on the forums and keep coming across the phrases B.O.G and S.O.G. what does it all mean??

lol, I think I'm right in saying, one is a maker of seeds, the other of buds. BOG is a breeder called bushy old grower, SOG is a system of closely planting clones in flower, so that from above you see a Sea Of Green. Hope that helps.

scrog= screen of green LST means low stress training I remember my first time finding a grow community I had no clue what LEO was all I knew was watch out for this big bad Leo that noone liked. (law enforcement officer)

BOG - Bushy Older Grower; semi-retired breeder; hero to numerous online growing forums.

SOG - Sea of Green; Growing technique in which many smaller plants are used to obtain a high yield.

SCROG - Screen of Green; Growing technique in which a plant(s) are placed under a screen and through training, the plant bushes out, increasing the yield while keeping the plant short/squat and tame.

Heh, we do have our own little jargon going here. Never really thought about it, but I imagine coming here for some is like listening to old hot rod buffs talking about being shaved, chopped, dropped, channeled, and rolled.

After thinking about it, we really do have a ton of Abbreviations and Phrases we toss around casually. SCrOG, SoG, Topped, Fimmed, DWC, Aero, NFT, Soilless (that one through me for a WTF? for a while), HPS, MH, good lord, no wonder folks get confrazzled
