i hear ya . and i wish you luck .last co i worked for had to have a percentage of employees take drug tests. they knew i toked and sold half the crew weed . i never got tested and told em i would quit first. worked there 9 years.
just eh "excessive" part has me curious as to whether there is an "acceptable" amount of cannibinoids, or if just the lowest detactable level is too much. Like if you only smoked once in a while you would be ok.
sorry to hear this brother. arizonas a tough place, they dont play around. i know from exp. i wish you luck on your search for steady work. keep your head up. karma will catch up!
Just wanted to say thanks for the advice and kind words. I took a sizable hit on the paycheck, but I'll bounce back quick. A smart man with common sense and a strong back are hard to find nowadays.
glad you didn't get the unemployment. I don't mean it like it might sound. With it you might not have went out and gotten the job you now have, and cheap ass AZ only pays like 220 a week for unemployment anyway. Then they stay awake nights trying to find some kind of 'fraud' so they can get it back. Keeps you in poverty.
I'm really glad to hear you've found work, I know what it's like to face the wife with news of a layoff or other job loss news. ouch!
Someone is going to have to take an employer to court and win for us to have any justice on this.
Our mmj law is clear that you can not be discriminated against. The only question should be - Were there enough mj metabolites in your urine to be impaired or not? What that level is will need to be hammered out in court or the powers that be will set it way too low.
I was told later that the "acceptable level" ( determined by whom, I don't know. ) of metabolites was 50/ppm and mine was supposedly 2k/ppm. What the level of ppms have to be before "intoxication" , I don't know..
Common sense would dictate that my levels are going to be above normal levels, because I medicate at least 3-5 nights a week. We all know the amount of time it lingers in the body, and daily medicinal use would naturally cause One's results to be high. No pun intended.
Does anyone here know the amount of time that the THC is still considered to be active, or how to really confirm in the test that a person just has high metabolites, or that person is under the influence at the time of testing?
