One may wish to avoid dealing with Ministry of if you expect to get viable seeds. I am a breeder on the central coast of
CA. who is terribly unhappy with the quality and customer service of Ministry of Cannabis.
I am always looking to add something interesting to my gene pool, Ultra White Amnesia looked promising enough to import some seed. And to tell you the truth it may indeed prove to be a good strain, however despite the people at the MOC claiming a germination rate of 98% of the seed that I purchased this was far far from the case.
In case there is any doubt, I hasten to add that these seeds were treated to optimal germination conditions by a farmer with over 35 years continual experience in growing our favored flower. So the incredibly low germination rate was not due to farmer error.
FULLY 40% OF THE SEED FAILED TO GERMINATE.
The Ministry of Cannabis refused to replace the bad seed and failed to make any meaningful offer of compensation, in the best traditions of greed, they only offered a bit of store credit to be used on another purchase and even this only amounted to the value of half of the seed that did not germinate, it other words it was just another incremental ripoff.
The result is that the seed I purchased form the Ministry of Cannabis was near twice as expensive at the retail price stated.
Needless to say such a company that has no sense of priorities with regard to customer satisfaction and such a low opinion of these same customers that they deal with them is such a pompous and ridiculous manner as to quote statistics about the percentage of germination they had in their tests, which mean nothing at all if 40% of the seeds they sent you failed at the launching pad.
Best to avoid these scammers, who admitted that their seed "looked bad" in our correspondence, obviously it not only looked like immature airy dry seed, it was.
Ministry of Cannabis has proven they don't give a damn about their customers or about what the quality of their product is in the real world when it reaches you.
Cheap pikers won't even replace defective seed when it would cost them basically nothing to replace, avoid at all costs, or make sure you use a credit card and will be able to do a charge back when their seed fails.
Oh and please do not respond with, "Well, I bought seed from them and it was OK." . . . or similar, such companies must be judged by how they respond when they make a mistake, not when all goes well.
