Autopilot co2 digital controller eletronic interference???

So this cold freezing ass weather has me motivated to get the co2 burner going. Reading about bobbles disaster thread has fueled the procrastination a bit. I will hopefully learn from his mistakes and not follow them. Id probably end up a bum on a beach if this place burns down and i hate eating canned food!

So the co2 controller worked great while the big room was on its night cycle. the 4kw tent doesnt do the job warming the garage up on its own when its this cold so i needed the co2 burner to help in that regards. When the 13kw room turns on the controller freaks out and reads the ppm like it should but then it flashes some crazy ass negative number like -13000 for example. I tried moving it to the opposite end of the room thinking it was too close to the ballast hanging on the other side of the wall. Still doesnt work right.

So my question is when the directions say to keep unit 8 feet from ballasts is it refeering to the controller box or the co2 reader thats on the 15ft cord? I dont think there would be anywhere i could hang the co2 reader that would be logical to read the co2 without it being too close to a ballast. I mean the reader is supposed to be plant height close to the center of the room right? most of the ballasts are in the center of room as well since those cords get extra short with 10 to 12 foot angled ceiling. if i hang the controller on the opposite side of the 13kw room then the tents ballasts are slightly scattered all over so no ideal hanging places there either...

ill post some pictures so this thread isnt a completely boring ramble...
maybe tonight if it acts up again ill post pictures of the crazy negative number. im also confused about the extra dc power plug the controller came with. when i plug it into the controller it lights up controller over ride button and doesnt activate co2 burner.

Autopilot makes an analog controller. Cheaper. I would try to do something about the red/yellow flame. Good luck. -granger

the red yellow part is only a flicker and that might be because i literally just fired it up. will double check today if it still looks as red. so far i only use it when it is freezing outside other wise i turn it off. it makes the room pretty hot if its not freezing outside.

what is something that i could do about the red yellow flame?
