looks pretty slick... however i've noticed (in my experience) that auto rolled joints tend to run more and burn less evenly than hand rolled. that's why i don't bother with machines...

I used one last night.....it's an ancient Zig-Zag Roller exactly like the one you just posted. Perfect for people that have a hard time rollin but like others have said....better to roll by hand. I used it last night just to say that I had.

I've got one of the cheap plastic zig zag rollers. I got it before i could roll a decent joint. Haven't used it in years though. It works really good though.
A friend of mine has a roller that looks kinda like one of those things they use to manually swipe your credit card with. This thing was made in the 60's and feels like commercial quality. I bet it weighs 20 pounds.

I got an antique cigerette roller with a leather like strap in it but unless its
a pinner it rolls em too tight. so i use a old dollar bill .

i know some people cant roll joints, my best friend has had arthritis in his hand since we were in grade school and he doesnt even try. in that case get yourself a nice lil pipe. but that auto roller is pretty cool, like something you would find at a little shop on conney island.NiteTiger said:Must be nice

With the best will in the world, you simply can't get stoned by inhaling paper fumes. A backwards rolled joint only has one layer of paper, and so makes for a tastier smoke, especially if you've only got reds... know what I mean?
1. Although this joint only requires one skin, it's quite tricky until you get the knack of it. Take the skin and lay it flat,
sticky side down, gum line at the bottom.
2. If it's easier, flatten the crease or even fold it backwards.
Add your mix and roll it in the paper as usual but this time you will need to bring the gum line up from underneath and roll it into the joint.
3. You'll be able to see the line through the paper. Holding the joint firmly, lick the outside of the skin, along the gum line. This will seep through and stick the paper together but you might need to run your finger along the line just to make sure.
Leave the joint to dry for a bit (you can use a lighter to speed up the process, but be careful not to burn a hole in your joint!)
Pack the mix down and you're nearly done.
4. Now comes the fun part.
You should have a triangular piece of paper left over along the side of your spliff. Being careful not to burn yourself, hold the roach end and light the excess paper from the bottom and it will burn all the way to the top and then burn down to the line of your mix. Very impressive but quite messy, make sure you have an ashtray handy.

My little roller is just one of those cheapo zig-zag things. I've just got it down to a science
My buddies who can roll the most beautiful joints often have me roll when we're havin' a get together, just for pure speed 
Although, as far as 'gadgets', I love my little filtered cigarette machine. Gives me joints that look just like cigarettes. It's just fun to use

I can't roll worth a shit, and I think it's odd because I work w/ my hands all day everyday, and can do far more w/ my hands than most peeps. But I cant roll a j to save my life (you should actually see my attempts..it's hillarious) (I might as well just put the weed and paper all in one hand and wad it all up).
plus you end up smelling like a stoner after smoking a joint (that's my experience anyways)

I actually had a buddy of mine who was a non-toker get so fed up with my pitiful attempts, he shouted 'Jesus Christ! GIMME THAT!', promptly rolled a joint, and said 'You oughta be ashamed to call yourself a pothead.'
rolling a good joint takes practice. i really learned how to do it only after a month of practice. i would sit in my room (high ofcourse), and roll using basil leaves or something. or i would just use some weed and roll and unroll until i got the coordination down. another thing, you have to prepare the papers that helps alot. fold them in half and then break the rigididty and slide the papers between your thumb and fingers this makes for a quick and easy roll as the paper will do what you want it to when youve got weed in hand.NOKUY said:
