Automatic Hindu Kush

heres a pic of my hindu kush x ak47 auto (lowlife ) was finished in under 70 days .



was in 3.6 ltr pot of canna coco i used canna nutes and a 400w hps .
out of all the autos i have grown the hindu is my NO 1 . great taste great smell and very good yeild . around 50 grams dry i think .

with autos its best not to pot up start the seeds off in there final pots . autos need root space ... this hindu was around 30 inch tall
also autos have hard shells i find they love heat when u are germing them . my NYLD (NYCD X LEMON SKUNK ) autos germ around 48h in my airing cubboad . and i get 100% germ rate .

These are the two oldest #1 and #2 on day 29.5. The tallest is now about 6 inches or so and the smaller is about 4.5 inches. Both have shown a bit of stretch with the tallest one now having internodes about 1".

Here's a good one. The #9 seed decided to turn mutant. It has 3 cotyldons. I had one of these years ago and it ended up with three branches at every node and was really potent. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

The left hand leaf has the skin hanging underneath so it doesn't have the right shape in the photo. It just opened and already has the second leaves forming.

Any info about 3 cotyldons like this would be appreciated.

I loved gorwing my Auto Hindu Kush. I did two plants in a tiny aerogarden with it's stock lighting, and head two phenos show up. Not much stink to them, for my first grow in my life got a good yield, and best of all, it was perfect for my medical needs. Here's a couple of shots of the girls. I harvested too early, and learned tons from my first grow. I'd like another try with AHK -- I really liked it.

The smoke was smooth, but even better vaped -- nice fruity notes with an underlying skunky/sourness. I will for sure be getting more beans of this variety; it's awesome.

Thanks Zombo for the photos. They really look nice and it seems like the plants were the perfect size for the Aerogarden. Boy did they ever get long white hairs on them.

The little mutant #9 has opened up and started to grow it's secondary leaves now and you can see there are 3 of them. I don't know if I would keep this plant to make seeds but the idea of 50% more branches and buds is interesting.

The largest #2 plant is now on day 33 and she's about 8 inches tall now. #1 is now about 5 inches tall. #3 and #6 are there as well.

#3 is on day 26 now and starting to flower nicely.

Even though she's puny, she's trying very hard. This is #1 on day 33.

My pride and joy is #2 and here at day 33 you can see it's starting to move.

I really would like to get some pollen on this plant any day soon so I am hoping #6 will turn male. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I must say, I would like some weird seeds off that plant. But I like freaks of nature.
And half again as many budding sites sounds like a fine bonus. LOL!

Well, it's bad and it's good. #6 turned out to be a female. I kind of felt it was towards the end as it was branching heavily down below and just had that look. So that means no pollen yet for at least another week and a half or more if #7 or #8 show up as male. They're only 12 days old now. The seeds were much larger than #5 or #6 so if my system is right they should be male. The first females are going to be past the time for pollinating if the males don't hurry up. The later females will be prime and look very nice but I have an attachment for the first two.

So the good news is I now have 5 females, 4 of which are nice and strong. Immagine that--5 females.....

yeah you got the luck picking them beans for sure. I usually see an even spread of males and females. I would just buy another pack and do a legit seed run, then work the perpetual harvest in. That way you got ALOT of stock to work with.

That has always been my issue with autos. If you find that nice keeper female and no pollen your S.O.L. I like to run as many as i can at once, that way the best male can hit the best female. I am in a constant state of pollen chuck at my place. Living in a society where #'s mean higher sentencing it's abit on the mind, but... no guts to glory!

One reason i feel that auos haven't got to where 12/12 is, is the fact we haven't had people like Sam the skunk man or Felix, running litterally thousands at once, to choose those selct couple to breed with. When you read about breeding anything, the parents of the cross are the most important. So large populations will enevitably breed more potent autos. We're getting there. Some one will get the holy grail.. it's only a mater of time.

LOL sorry for the rant.. got some nice sati herb right now, gets the old hamster wheel a turnin.

AHK's looking fine mate, resin production has started as well. Should be nice.

I really like these AHK plants and I've already decided that if I don't get a male in time I'll just buy another pack of seeds. So far I've been pretty good at guessing the seeds by size so I have to beleive my #7 & #8 are male because the seeds were large. Every day twice a day I twist my kneck looking at them to try and see balls even though it's only 14 days tomorrow. Come on guys get it up. I need pollen. They can't all be female.....

I've basically given up hope for the #10 seed. It's been soaking for 10 days now and even though it split and a bit of a root came out it just stopped growing. It's still white and fresh but it doesn't want to grow. Actually it was a very light coloured seed and I was surprised that it split.

The mutant with three leaves is very fast and much larger than the rest and much further above the ground but it was the largest seed to sprout.
