Thanx Mountain, Do you have a model number on that industrial probe. It looks like the Nanny uses the same probe as the Hanna Grow Check meters.

Still...Anyone actually using a Nanny???

looks like there is alot of interest in these. I love to produce things that people will use in little projects like this. I would be willing to put togeather units like that of the PH nanny, but using much better materials.

So far i am thinking about using:
-Hanna BL 981411 Ph Indicator
-Welco WPX-1 pump

not sure what probe i will be using as i could also sell the units premade without the probe, if you choose to use a higher grade one.
Please let me know if i should consider even doing this or just make one for myself.

I could be interested in one, with probe and all installed(no hassle for me).
What price are you thinking of? And would you ship to EU?
PM me!

Sure you could but that's a tad more difficult but nothing to shy away from.

Blind Date - Wish I could be 100% sure on this but looks like the Hanna 1006-2005 probe is what I was talking about. My notes are buried now but that puppy will run you about $180 retail. I visited the Hanna site and they've changed some things around. I think they make two industrial type probes that will work. Hanna's very easy to work with if ya need to . They only care about selling products. It's pretty lame Hanna doesn't match compatible probes to their controllers on the site...so someone is gonna have to answer customer inquiries about this...lol.

As for the new APT pump I dunno if it's available yet. I was told it would be by now but that doesn't appear to be the case after a visit to the website. You'd want the 210 series.

Once again the pH controllers to look at are the Hanna 931700 at .02 pH accuracy and a data output for about $100 more than the 981411 with a .1 pH accuracy (just fine and dandy).

I just had a newer Hanna probe crap out on my newer 991404 continuous monitor meter at about 6 months...needless to say it was one of the cheapies but it's the only probe that will work with the 991404. I was hoping for better than 6 months but am not surprised it died.
