Autoflower Lingo...

Hey guys hows it going? Just got a quick question that will clear up all my confusion. So yeah. I just wanted to check. When you see a number of days in the autoflower it always means from seed right? Because it's hard to tell when flowering has started exactly? Is this correct? Or do some people also just put flowering time (approximation)? Thanks for clearing up my newbie knowledge.

there is a "general rule" that auto's will flower after around 20 days and be done 2months from seed. however some (like lowryder 1+2) will finish earlier, and some that will finish later. its very easy to tell when flowering has started, you get white pistils emerging, or on males pollen sacks that look like balls. males show sex a few days before females usually

hey lowrdr. I appreciate the input but thats not really what I was asking. I was just simply wondering when people say "its 48 days in" they mean from seed (in the autoflower forum). Is this correct? That's all I'm asking. Cause with non autoflower most people mean flowering time unless otherwise stated when they quote an amount of days. But it seems like most people mean from seed in the autoflower forum. Can someone confirm this for me. Thanks guys.
