 stevefrench..you have been J-Lo'd (LowAsis x JEM)

that should ensure you have Colour to play with.

Regards ferts..
but she has been a little deficient at times (likes the nutes for sure)... she's taken everything i can throw at her so far
They are made to produce on only plain compo and water..
but..
if you fancy a little pampering..they will respond Gratefully. :smoke:

Once I get them up to flower..I flower fert almost every day
(they are Greedy little beggars)
BUT..
my girls are on auto water so they get water in the morning..
ferts for lunch
then another auto water in the evening.
Flush..fert..flush.
Always Passing ferts.

It gives them the option to pick up the ferts if they want it..
but doesn't force feed them..no burn.
Also..when they are seeded I like to give them a couple of Veg ferts to give
the seeds a balanced diet.

It is not essential..but a little bit of love goes a Long way with them.

7 days...and you should be able to feel if she is seeded.

both my plants were in need of some water so i gave her a light feeding yesterday with some 10-15-10 and molasses... all is looking well'

next year id like to use organic amendments and then mostly water the whole way through if possible.. was my plan this year but i was short on money.. so i used what i had already.

They Love a bit molasses...
I cannot use it because of an ant problem.

She is looking Very beautiful :kissass:
not even a finger tip space in between those buds..
and classic JEM trics..
I can almost smell her...:yummy:

The buds perform..taste/high even when seeded.
They have to..90% of mine are seeded...so don't worry about that
and they Kick a couple of days into drying. :sasmokin:
(MOST of the AF I work with do that..but only a few of the long season girls.)

11 inches on the nose means she is about 3 inches short of full height.
She Might make it up..but I find once seeded..
their thought tend to go straight to seed production..:gaga:

next year id like to use organic amendments
If you mean adding ferts into the compo..
I can only say....nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo:nono:
they Hate pre-ferted compo.
BUT..you don't have to take my word for it...now you are going to have some to play with you can experiment and run a plain versus pre-fert "test".

:listen2: P.S. They like you to sing to them at the weekend..
(think about it..they like the carbon dioxide you breathe in their faces :biglaugh:)

Have a great weekend m8 :joint:

I THINK she is bliss on a stick

I beg to differ :D

From what I have been researching organic is the way to go. Its not about what you put in your soil but what is in your soil (If that makes sense).

Check out the organics for beginners thread in the organic soil forum, loads of info there.

Beauty plant though! How much longer does she have?

Oh man Steve French she is looking like she is loving it in your care. I see healthy seeds in your future, and she's got good resin, congrats!

thanks, i love just lookin at the buds sometimes.. they have a ton of resin on them... i cant wait for everything to be done :woohoo:

excellent, only about half the plant is seeded as well so i should have some nice sensi too.. ive been reaallly curious this whole time how the potency will hold up to the strains i usually smoke.. lots of debate over this it seems and i wanted to find out myself!! :abduct:

:chin: im still pretty new to all of this, but my plan was just to use composted manure/peat/perlite for the soil mix and then plain water, molasses and bone meal tea if needed for flowering

thanks, hopefully just another couple of weeks... pollinated her kinda late so gonna have to let it go as long as i can... but i hope to have it done early/mid september at the latest

Any news...?

I beg to differ
ha ha..You would..
stevefrench..Meaty has the Distinction of being the Only person of my aquaintence that can grow the JEM's..WELL..in miracle grow.
How you gonna feel if stevefrench takes your Title..
you wont be Unique any more. :frown:

:biglaugh::biglaugh:

Guessed you would be wondering how they would perform seeded.
It would be such a bummer watching and waiting for her and finding she had put everything into the seed.
No need to worry.

On my first season I read the same stories about AF strength..
so when the AF's were Good...I expected the long season girls were going to be a lot stronger.
I was wrong.
The JEM's out-performed everything except the Afghans...which were about equal
I had swazi and bubbleicious and they were no-where near as good.

I will be real interested in your smoke report though.
Another point of view is always appreciated.

im still pretty new to all of this, but my plan was just to use composted manure/peat/perlite for the soil mix and then plain water, molasses and bone meal tea if needed for flowering
sounds like an ideal diet to me.
I think lightening the compo with perlite assists in the all important root formation.

hahaha, i actually used 24-8-16 miracle gro on her during veg and then switched to shultz 10-15-10 for flower..

i will have to wait and see how this stacks up to the bubba kush.. (if it even finishes) but sounds like the jem will be a worthy opponent...

im getting pretty antsy now though

if there is one thing growing has taught me, its PATIENTS.. have never been able to wait for anything :drum:...

getting better at it though
biglaugh.gif

still fairly sunny days and warm weather... buds are swelling though i cant quite tell if seeds are forming just yet
