[FONT=&quot]Hello everybody!
Welcome to my first Grow report. I will be reviewing the Auto Malawi x Northern Lights strain, from the notorious ACE seeds. This is also my first auto flowering strain and English is not my first language so I will do my best in order to give a representative report of this strain.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Background info:[/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Experience: I have been growing for the last 4 years, mostly in indoors, under a 250 W light in both hydro and organics. I have run 3 outdoor grows with little success (lots of pest and mold problems). Never the less, I think I have learned the basics of outdoor growing so I’m confident that I will be up to the challenge. [/FONT]
· Location: The grow will be performed in a location 42º North, under a Oceanic climate (Cfb). The plant will have approximately 6-7 hours or direct sun every day (from 9 am to 16 pm).
· Medium: The growing medium will be a mixture of Bio-Bizz All Mix (80%) and perlite (20%) in order to enhance ventilation.
· Set up: The seed has been sprout the 24/05/2017 and put into the definitive container: a 19 l smart pot. The 26/05/2017 the two cotyledons came out from the ground.
· Fertilizers and others to be used:
[FONT=&quot]o [/FONT]PH down
[FONT=&quot]o [/FONT]Power Roots (Plagron)
[FONT=&quot]o [/FONT]Fish Mix (Bio-Bizz)
[FONT=&quot]o [/FONT]Bio bloom (Bio-Bizz)
[FONT=&quot]o [/FONT]Top Max (Bio-Bizz)
[FONT=&quot]o [/FONT]PH and EC measurement device.
[FONT=&quot]o [/FONT]Neem extract
[FONT=&quot]o [/FONT]Propolix
[FONT=&quot]o [/FONT]Banana te + melaza (in flowering period)
[FONT=&quot]o [/FONT] Garlic+soap mixture (when needed)
I will try to update the report weekly, uploading photos taken every 3-4 days (2 photos per update), commenting the performance of the plant, my overall impressions of the week and special events if any. I will also inform about the watering schedule of the week in order you can advice me about the improvements I can make.
So, my objective is to make this report a 2 way communication channel from which I´m sure all of us can learn new things.
I will upload the first photo this afternoon or tomorrow.
Best regards,
Sasaki

Hi Sasaki,

I'm glad to hear you are about to start our new Auto Malawi x NL :)

Your feeding products are the correct ones to grow organically, indeed we use and recommend Bio Bizz and Bio Canna fertilizers. I like all the products you comment, although my favourite root stimulator is Rhizotonic from Canna. Bio Bizz has great products as well, Fish Mix, Bio grow and Bio Bloom are good fertilizers that produce very tasty and healthy flowers, good choice for outdoors although they are not very strong, Bio Canna line is higher in nutrients. i don't like Top Max as it forces hormonally too much the plants in flowering and can induce hermie traits in strains prone to it.

I just came to visit our outdoor tests of this season with our first auto flowering strain and we are super satisfied, i hope you will be pleased with the results at the end of the cycle too ;)

Hi Sasaki,

Try to don't post local urls of your comp.

To add images to your post press 'Go advanced', then select 'Manage attachments', upload your pics (try to lower down the size or resolution of your pics in case they are too big) and then post it by pressing 'Submit reply'.

I have issues with the pics, anyone some help??

First your English is pretty good no worries man.

I know posting pictures can be a pain. Dubi explained it well. I upload pictures a different way. Fast, easy and works everytime. Follow these instructions. Use this site http://imgur.com/ to upload pictures. First click "New post" at the top of the page. Next a window will pop up, click "Browse". Your PC window will pop open like normal to upload a image. After you will see the image you selected be posted. Scroll over the image then click "Get Shared Link". Copy and paste the "BBCode (Forums)" link and that's it.

It sounds like a lot but once you do it once successfully, it's easy. Happy growing and best of luck to you. If you need anymore help, I got your back.

Nice to see a grow journal on these autos as I am very tempted by them. I had just ordered the Auto CBG from Ace at the time when I saw the Spannabis release of Ace's own Auto.
Happy grow Sasaki! Thanks for making the journal.

Auto malawi week 2

Auto malawi week 2

Everything is going ok. The plant looks healthy.

Overall weather during the first days of the plant: Not very good. Half of the days cloudy and rainy.

Incidents: I found some trips on the little plant so I decided to spray some water with garlic and soap. No sings of more trips for now.

Watering Schedule: Plain PH-ed water, 0.5 l every 2 days. From now on I will start with 1 ml/l of power roots every watering and I will start watering less often with 2-3 l.

In order to gain stability (the plants are in a quite windy place) and increase the area were the plant can develope roots, I buried the plant on her 4th day of life.

Plant on day 4:
-Before being buried:

-After being buried:

Looking vigorous Sasaki ,

These Ace autos could be very interesting for the cold northerners.

Had a Panama/Malawi that had to go ,beautiful girl that was sown in late March under cfl then put out beginning of May outdoors at 55 north in a hoophouse .

She was trained badly but still only about 18 inches tall with over ten tops.
Ace seeds imo are strong genetics ,so will be following .
Best of Luck.
Peace.
