Is there anything close to lr,seed to bud in 8 weeks?

Actually growing from 12/12 right from seed will not cause the plant to flower automatically, that only works when you are growing from clones in a SOG setup. When doing this from seed the plant will flower when it is chronologically ready to flower. It will vegetatively grow slowly, however some equatorial varieties actually like to veg. under 12/12 seeing as that it replicates there natural conditions, strains not acclimated to equatorial regions do not take to this technique as well. Also growing non equatorial strains this way will cause unnecessary stresses to the plants, it is crucial to allow plants to show signs of preflowers before inducing flowering. Many people believe that it is ok to veg a plant for a few weeks and then just induce flowering, it is not, like I said it causes unnecessary stresses to the plant that can cause such things as hermaphrodites and other problems.stealthballer said:I was talking about normal strains 12 12 from seed

As far as vegging for a few weeks and then flowering without preflowers, if you and other people want to do that it is your decision and yours only. Don't be surprised if you get super low yields, hermaphrodites, or weak plants. I have never met a master grower or breeder that didn't allow plants to show preflowers before inducing flowering, and if most people as you say are doing this, they should stop and they might be surprised with the results. Anyways, you do what you like, but I am hear to give people educated information, not to start problems. I have nothing to prove to anyone, I have already done that.PEACE, BrotherD
