not to throw you to much out your line of thinking but...
alot of the results does depend on your system and your level og growing skill, if you grow autos in party cups the dont expect 5oz yield per plant but if you put them in hydro its a different matter
im not sure what the average yield is on your pinkbud or secret citrus but put them in my hydro setup and ill show you what they can really do
all im saying is a lot depends on the medium you grow in as oppose to the strain itself
hey skotty , as the first paragraph shows this thread is to help people with AF selection for growing indoors and out. The Classes have nothing to do with the inexperienced grower messing things up by poor growing skills, and the results they may get due to the mistakes
made.
Auto-Flowering Classes are a guide to describe the average genetic representation of Stable Auto-Flowering Strains. These Classes are based on the healthy natural average growth from strains in a common medium, Organic Soil (which is what nature indented), Organic Soilless mixes, or even in a Hydro system, when the Classes are compared to each other in the same systems the Classes will stand true.
Just because you have a dialed in Hydro systems doesn't mean you can change the overall genetic makeup of a strains common representation of itself. Of course a dialed in hydro system with killer lighting will increase sizes, but even then the Classes will still stand to reason. Yes, they may seem bigger then their soil counterparts but if compared side by side you would still be able to see what is smallest to largest. If you grow Juice a True Micro in hydro ya, it would get larger then its soil sisters, but grow it next to an OGRE a True Monster Class in the same system it would overgrow your area with the strains Classes standing True.
This Classification System should be used by breeders to help growers make the best selections for their growing systems, no matter what system you are running you can get a general idea of how the strains will perform.
Like stated before, more information from AF Breeders regarding the performance indoors ( Soil and Hydro) / Outdoors, in the AFs they offer is needed now, if they don't offer such info then avoid them unless you are willing to figure it out yourself, by all means grow what you want to.
