I like the cab man, but i have a couple questions...have you done any grows before with the UFO led? Or is this the first? Also if it were me i would just keep the "Humidity domes off" Because they look like sorta opaque and seem they would block alot of the valuable light the seedlings need... It may just be the pics, but so far everything looks good +Rep for the cab and choice of autos

20/4 - It's my first indoor grow, and first time with the UFO LED. The domes are opaque, I was debating removing them because the RH is only 37%.. I just checked. Do you guys think they will be fine without the domes? Thanks for stopping in 20/4 and any input is always appreciated.

Domes are off and I filled one with tap water and put it in the bottom of the cab, should increase the RH a little

Nice! I would leave the domes off, sometimes my relative humidity is only 20% during flowering and everything pulls through very nicely... Should start to take off real nice for ya soon...

Super Cali-Haze IS DEAD

I extremely carefully removed some vermiculite piece by piece took me about an hour, as to not cause any damage. The tiny tap root had grown out horizontally and pushed the seed down and it only had one cotyledon... not impressed at all. Especially since the seed looked as perfect as any I've ever grown and cost twice as much. I can't help but think, since the other 3 are flourishing and that this is the third thread this strain has recently failed in one way or another, that there are some problem genetics at work here.

Maybe if someone gets a keeper they can do a seed run, so the rest of us can try this one.

I'm looking to try and get some Onyx from somewhere as they seem to be a reliable AF, if I can't I'll probably just get some clones...

Man what a buzz kill, I'm totally bummed out, think it was something I did?

Sorry to hear about the dead cali haze, not sure if it was your fault or not? But i have yet to see a super cali haze perform as it is suppose to... For onyx on the other hand, ive grown it out and loved it... Ive got one going right now from my own stock i made and its moving along great... Again sorry to hear about the dead seedling, ive had seedlings randomly die on me before...

So sorry that I haven't posted an update in bit.

Well long story short I got a horrible bottle of root stimulator that was contaminated with that nasty slim bacteria from richyrich's thread. Needless to say I was not happy especially since I have been on the ball with res temps etc, ran Physan 20 at recommended dosage and added a tiny bit of H2O2 to the res after a full flush/clean. Unfortunately I think it hit at the worst time it could and stunted them at a key time in development, the roots I am sure are now failing. I got a mist feeder and the foliage is all still alive but hasn't grow at all and as of today has started to loose their rich green color. They are being cared for but I think its over for them "I'll keep them comfortable..."

But foreseeing that my first transition to indoor may go south I had already ordered more seeds. 10 Lg Thai x Deep Chunk, 5 Mandala Safari Mix and I found a single seed in some ??Kush which was great smoke so excited for that single seed...lol. Of the 16, 13 have popped and there root systems are exploding... oh to deal with the chance of a bacteria reinfection I added a ton of beneficial's this round.

Also my grow chamber is in the middle of a renovation, tidier bigger etc. Added 320W of Vertical T5s. More buckets scrog screen etc.

5 days since I germinated the others and some are already as big as the original plants just minus 2 nodes of leaves.

Anyways unfortunately now that I`m running regular strains I suppose I will have to take my leave of this thread and make a new one in the appropriate place. + K to all who took the time to follow this while it was still going, this is one of the best sub forum communities imho. Auto Flowers Roll

If I buy some new batteries tomorrow I`ll toss some pics up so you can see, on an interesting note the Green-o-matic put out 6...yes 6! leaves in its first node.

I`ll be back with some Onyx when I can get my hands on some. Although now that I think of it maybe the La Blanca thats overgrowing skottys room lol.
