Auto breeding question.

I have a Full auto male's pollen and I am thinking of Cross pollinating it to a Semi-auto female.

This is something I had never really pondered before.

I suspect that 75 percent of the plants would be full autos on the first Generation but I am not precisely sure.

Or would a single set of genes already be present for auto growth in the Semi auto plants making the extra set contributed by the auto father make for full auto children?

The semi auto that you have or thinking about is it in seed form or only clone ?

Reason I ask is that it also depends on how stable the semi is. Just because if what you got is semi doesn't mean offspring are but higher % likely.

Its a seed form and though the growth is variable the harvest time is consistent. If you treat it like an auto at first then switch to 12/12 about 3-4 weeks of age it is finished in 75-80 days seed to harvest.

If what I've read is right AF is recessive so your looking at 25% in a full auto with a non/semi auto cross in the F1 population tops. That's assuming you breed a true breeding auto which there are few. In you inbreed a F2 population of that line is where you may see the 50/50 but that is again only if it's a true auto (very rare). If not your looking at 0% in F1 and 25% in F2.
