Auto BlueBerry feminized under 400 HPS

`i must say this gives me more hope, i purchased a 5 pack of dutch passion auto blueberry. i heard alot of bad things about there fem auto flowering beans, mutants, unpoppable beans, that sort of thing, i germed all 5, 4 popped, the other hasent come up yet, they seem alright thow, i also heard about alot of hermies. i hope this is just rumor, because that auto blueberry looks tasty. cant wait to put these girls in there permanent homes :) cant wait to see how the final product looks brotha

I used to and sometimes still do worry about the rumors that are going around about strains. So what I have figured out in my exp. is that ppl that have bad germing/overall growing teq. tend to holler and yell about bad genetics. Just because they are the type of person that thunk they already know everything and don't want to hear advice they think that it has to be bad beans or bogus banks because they couldn't possibly fuck anything up. Well sorry for the ramble but the moral is "Just find out for yourself" but thats just IMO. thanks for stopping by my thread!

i totally agree Neal, you gotta think the source is the biggest factor! Theres no telling who these people are, and what methods they are using or maybe even just a couple of bad beans! there are alot of variables.

I just figured out how to take macro pics.lol
So here are some macros of my auto Blueberry.
The blueberry is 67 days old and according to the seed bank this strain is a 10 week strain but i think it may have to go 8 more days just to rippen to my standards. First 2 pics are GHS co. Cheese and second 2 pics are D.P Haze #1 and I posted these pics because the Cheese plant looks like it has haze in it, is it just me or do these plants show like traits?

Rite on brother.
You know, I don't even use a germinating method. I just put the bean in soil or moist rock-wool cube and so far I have had a 100% ratio with every strain but KNOCK ON WOOD!lol
But I do know for fact that these are very good methods because I have used germinating methods in the past and have had very good turn out but if you forget about them then just forget it if they dry out. Thats why I don't use a method anymore.

Ok, i am seriously considering building a couple of these for my tent... 56"w x 56"d x 78.75"h... it all sounds good, BUT, this is jus a lil difficult as far as breeding goes, because i will have different strains.......?<gotta figure it out...! anywayz, my next grow was gonna consist of 3 or 4 diff. strains of autos....[10 onyx, 10 HBD, 10 Ak47 & 10 "tester"<will reveal when it's started]...they were to start out in 1 gal bags till sex, then transplant to 2gal or 3gal bags under 600....Man, i'm trying to get the MOST out of these autos, and 2 things are a FACT with autos...More Light or Hydro makes em' Bigger! So, what is a good size tub & net pots to get when tryin to start that many seeds<<to get a good female to male ratio...my target number is 12-16 girls..<trying to get a 1lb dry per harvest using DWC...

Well man I read a lot about extra N making the female/male ratio higher when dealing with auto-flowering strains. I am using full strength nutes on hydro and soil, I havn't seen any sign of nute burn but I did go up on dosage gradualy. The only thing I can say about not pollinating strains that you don't want to mix is to put the males in a seperate grow space with some cheap CFL's or something when they start to produce pollen. Let them grow and collect the open sacks until you get a good lot, Put the pollen in a small jar for cold storage. When you are ready to make seeds just get a fine paint brush, pick the lucky lady, turn the fans off & start brushing.
I am going to be growing only 1 strain at a time so the male/s can just pollinate all of the females to make me 100s of seeds...

No, I didn't top her and she was droopy because it stormed for an hour or two then the sun came out and the temp was about 90. I always get worried so when I noticed that you mentioned her drooping I had to go check and she is straight and all the leaves are pointing straight out also.
The Haze plants usually droop really bad too but she was shaded during the last hours of light. Do you think the Cheese looks a little hazey?lol

I dont think u really answered my question......If I am starting 30-40 seeds in 4 10-18gal DWC tub, besides just chopping dwn all the males..how would/could I pollinate a female from each strain with out pollinating the WHOLE crop if I want seeds??? sounds difficult in a hydro set-up....OR just place 2 seeds from each strain in 2 gal bag, grow it, hopefully get a male and pollinate the females that are in soil???.....

I have thought of this same problem SUMP'N! And here is my plan! if you were wanting to cross pollenate you would have to have a seperate site for the males (of course) but to get the males out you would have to start your plants in large enough diameter Netty pots so the roots could slide out! im thinking 4-5" then you could have a seperate say 3/4 site tote in your and if i remember correctly "Fuck closet" haha :headbange to hold the males to collect pollen! then set-up another plant to put in its spot, everytime you find a male! i mean the roots wont be to big by the time you find a sexed male! They seem to show early. You will have to keep good records on when you planted what, but it wouldnt be that hard. if you did 4 "6 site" totes that would be 24 autos, and depending on your male/female ratio and at least im thinking pulling an ounce off of each girl "minimum" it should be nice! hope this helps, ive never been to good about explaining the shit in my head!!! haha :tiphat: :D

Sump'n... When you turn off the fan and paint the pollen on the plant it should stick to the plant, that works for pros like Soma. About how to get them out of the hydro system i would say what I.R. says, Use 5" netties and by the time the males show the roots won't be tangled .You could use 8-10g totes but I have a 10g,18g & 3 1/2g totes but the small DWC is just for practice its a six site but I only have 2 plants in it right now. You will need a separate grow space though, I keep a notebook with the date started and how many weeks old the plants are so I can know when they should show sex and when they are finished. I havent really thought about removing the males cause im just going to let them grow within the females cause its all about the seeds rite now.

I just had to do an emergency res. change. There was way to much big bloom settled at the bottom because I have just been adding nuted water as the tank went down. I went a week over res. change and am suffering the consequences! But luckily I caught them before they started to wilt and change color so I am thinking as soon as tomorrow the plants will be purked back up, also the heat was way up there like 90-95 so that could be my problem also. I knew I shouldve used the 10g res but hopefully all will be well tomorrow. Any one have any thoughts on what this could be? the plant was just droopy and the water was brownish with lots of trace minerals floating and settled in the res, the Ph is 5.5 now and was 5.8 when I noticed drooping.

I just had to take tooth picks and run worms out of my Master Kush plants. I noticed holes in the stalks and some stems so i took a toothpick and ran the worm to the hole and when it came out i killed it. But now there are some pretty big holes in the stalks, Will they heal or will they die? Well i'm glad that they are just females to be seeded...lol
The bud pic is a big devil that I am growing outside, I just wanted to post it. It doesn't pertain to the orms but I just had to post it along with the worm pic. Any ideas on how to get rid of the worms that I missed?

Man i have never heard of worms like that! are the worms on the Indoor or Outdoor girls???

That BB looks amazing!!! :dance013: i would love to wear that shirt after a week of her hanging! Im gonna have to move up the chop date on my PJ to this wed. cause an emergency popped up! she will still of had 5 days of flush and 68 days total! :) How are you doing the hash with the butane? and also how long are you gonna hang the BB?

Their in the outdoor girls and boys.lol
I haven't had any bug trouble with the indoor yet, I p.m.ed you a little about the hash making method and where to watch a instructional video. It involves a pyrex dish over boiling water and a pvc rod with 3 mesh screens in it, it also holds the trimmings inside of it so the butane can pass over it and strip the thc from iy.

great info there guyz thanks !!!! BUT, what about oxy pots??? I was doing some talking with an assoc. and a lot of hard thinking today on the very thing you guys just answered, and he suggested oxy pots..so of course I had to google it and research it as I am typing this and honestly depending on how much these cost to buy each OR for me to DIY, I may go this route....<they are MUCH MORE EASIER to move around AND perfect for my situation......
Here is what I'm thinking....Start 30 seeds in 1" rockwool cubes when roots show, place in 3" rockwool cube, by the time the roots show again it should be around day 8-10, enough time for the males to show themselves,<from his experience, [all the while these are in a proprgator] and now I put the hope to be females into the netty pots... then into 10-15 five gal buckets, ie; "oxy pot" in my 56" x 56" x 78.75" tent under 600hps....let's make some AutoBots Transform, like this>>>> that's WarMongery ONYX in a oxy pot<that bitch yielded 5oz dry!!!....AND.....BIG DEVIL

Yea man that sounds like a dead on plan!!!:good: I want to do the oxypots but it involves alot of space! If you can fit it in your area that is the route i would go.
On the rockwool cubes would you just have them on a tray and water them frequently? The only downfall would be res. changes 20 diff. ones would suck! ha but WELL worth it my friend! if you have any more questions i would love to brainstorm with ya :canabis::smoke out:
