Auto 24/0?

Hey guys, do you think autoflowering can be grown from the beginning till the end under 24/0 hps light? has anyone already done that?

Whats a true af? and... whats a "not true af"?

Im looking for a "not true" AF. A plant I can veg under 24/0 and then let her go into flower with 21/3, or even 22/2 when I put her outside.

Do you have any strains you could recommend that can handle a climate between 7-25C (average case-scenario, night/day temp)
something that wont go hermie on me and that will acctually work out..

Yes you can grwo from seed to harvest with 24/0 i have done that several times.
Strains for example: Vertigo, Pandora, Fast Bud #2

true AF: Plants/Strains with a 100% ratio - all of them got the af genes generated by selection. Normaly very short plants to medium high plants.

not ture AF: Plants/Strains with not 100% af-genes - some of them will not flower automatic - so under 24/0 they wont flowering. (f.e. Ruderalis Indica by White Lable/sensi seeds). Those Strains are normaly to use outdoors if you want an early flower. medium tall plants to tall plants

Well, anything that will flower with 24/0 is definitely a true AF. My very limited experience indicates that Samsara Ultraviolet & a freebie Auto Somango are true AF's. I think that it's fair to say that strains that will flower consistently with invariable long day lengths are autoflowering of some sort, "true" or not.

The next batch will be Buddha Syrup, so I'll follow their 18/6 or 16/8 recommendation from another current thread.

I'm hoping that Colorado's proposed ban on outdoor grows doesn't happen so I can try some of the semi autoflowering varieties... in my own backyard. Mine was once a pretty bad neighborhood, now gentrified, but there are 2 streetlamps within 50 ft of the backyard, so it seems unlikely that photoperiod varieties would do well...

Auto Affie is one.....22 hrs or more on and its fine less then that it starts to flower.

No such thing.

Wrong !...... Auto Affie aka Auto Afghani.... I think Gorilla Gold does the same but I have never grown that one out.
