yes love to grow. the smells and tastes from the different strains is fantastic. I would go crazy smokin the same thing for a year.. I pretty sure I have a 2 year supply right now but I keep growing looking for something special. If I find something better then what I have I will donate it. Its a revolving door the best stays the rest gets donated
Most of us love to grow................the weed we harvest is an additional benefit. Why do you think we spend HOURS and HOURS on a GROW site????

I doubt very much that the "most" you speak of would be growing anything if it wasn't for the the "weed" we harvest. The gardening may be a benefit for some but the reason for growing is..... the weed
I would be great though if it were true.
i grow everything not just weed. hoping to get back into shrooms this year again

If you grow a year's worth in one grow, there is more to love so to say...more smell, more electricity use, etc. Raises the risk some. But, if you succeed and clean out your place and have a stash away from your place, and can control mold and dryness correctly, and watch out for people following you to the stash, and keep your mouth shut, you are at about 1/2 -1/3 of the risk of getting busted or found out than the full year grow. Especially if you just keep a 1/4 zip at your place. Then you only risk the cost of getting nailed with 1/4 zip and that is likely a fine or something. The rest of the year except the month before you grow again, you can have a few folks and ladies over and no one sees anything. The hard part is shutting down for the 5 months to clear the house and grow and clean up again.But you could move about that time. Costs and benefits either way. But that's the basics...

Another benefit of growing year round is not running out of weed due to circumstances out of your control. About 7 years ago, I had to stop growing to take care of some problems. I started back up about 2 years ago, but during that 5 year hiatus, I never ran out of weed. I would find jars I had stashed around the house that I had forgotten about. A couple of those jars had the finest cured weed I've ever smoked.

OK so maybe the weed is the first benefit, but some of us actually enjoy gardening. If I didn't have my garden year round, I'd have to find things to do with my time when the garden wasn't up. I look forward to spending time in my garden on a daily basis.

Probably not most, but certainly many of us would be growing if not for weed. I will grow perpetually until they catch me... Lol. I would definetly have something growing indoors year around if not for weed...

I would bet the percentage of people who grow weed that would grow something else if they didn't grow weed would be the same as the percentage of people in the general population that have indoor or outdoor gardens..... but it's probably less.
Do a poll.... "Would you have set up your indoor or outdoor garden to grow anything other than weed?"
Would have to discount things like house plants and throwing a few seeds out in the yard since it's not close to the same. You can count me as the first "no" in that poll. Hell....
During the time I haven't been growing I had to smoke commercial weed sometimes. (ouch). Only once did I consider starting a head grow and only briefly. As soon as I thought about that "chain around my leg" a grow can be the mind moved off to more pleasant thoughts ;-)
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate growing weed, I like it just fine. I just like my freedom more and was never in it for the joys of gardening anyway.

I have (2) 8' x 10' raised bed gardens in the yard that I grow nothing but vegetables in. Just like with weed, nothing like growing your own!!!

I spend lots of time on my landscape gardens during the summer; have my whole life. When the opportunity finally came up for me to grow ganja safely and discreetly, it was a no brainer.
Once that decision was made, I learned it was great to keep a grow going during the winter months just to satisfy my green thumb. In fact, I wound up downsizing my grow a couple of times, just because growing year round resulted in way more fine marijuana than I could ever put to use.
