There was nothing in the opening post about security.

MANY of you have taken the liberty of using Gypsy's house as a hock shop to either trade or buy wares in open forum or in social groups.

It was about rampant theft.

That said, place your freedom in the hands of data mining strangers at your peril.

The time has come for some changes among these boards. MANY of you have taken the liberty of using Gypsy's house as a hock shop to either trade or buy wares in open forum or in social groups.

Some of you will not like these changes but for the better good of the community it needs to be done. For a few of you to join up and fubar it for everybody CONGRATULATIONS.

If you all could read some of what I've read the past few day's you might be inclined to shut down the whole damn thing. Just because it might be legal where you live DOES NOT mean it's legal everywhere and for some of you to post up THREADS asking for cuts beans and or (my favorite) Finished Product.

I put this up for everyone to know who's responsible and it's not the mod's are admin it's the stupid members who think we have a Gypsy List around here.

If ever there was a situation where a few people SPOILED IT FOR EVERYONE it's is now and in the coming day's.


So in closing be prepared for changes that may or may not happen and don't blame us because it's for the better good.

Nice ninja edit by 'someone' in that opening post, and yes it did mention security.

I'd like a definition of theft, as it seems there is some confusion here, for me at least.

A) Going to a bar, and setting up a keg in the bathroom to sell beers

B) Going to a bar, and grabbing a swig from your ladies drink


Still not sure what exactly you see as theft.

By using Gypsy's site to run their business at Gypsy's expense. If you want to set up a commercial presence on the web, have the courtesy to pay for it yourself. If you want to pay the bills for the commercial enterprises of others, that's your business, not Gypsy's.

hey g.r.-im pretty sure they are ref to people advertising thier businesses here w out paying for advertising....
------on a side note....wondering if we can get the san diegos finest cuts threads moved back to the medical forums...i would submit in support of those threads continuing the number of mods who repeatedly pointed out to...uh...newer...forums that the sdf thread was a self policed thread (where anyone venturing outside of T.O.U. was promptly thrashed on and embarassed!) and that it should be used as the model for the newer medical states....wacha think?

That's fine and well, KG.I'm by no means holding anyone of the mods, imparticulary, up to the light on this, just those that are representing Gypsy in this thread with their own thoughts on this 'issue'(?)

It would be nice to have a clearer picture as to just why these changes are needed, I'd hate to think the worst and I'm by no means a thief who can't take care of his own security.

So, you can see why, personally, I am confused here

Alright, I was trying to figure out what the drama is about. I'm an American, so automatically when people say they're doing things for "my security" I think they're trying to fuck me out of something. Whatever is going on doesn't involve me and besides I just work here.

But yea,sucks that people are messing things up for others here. I guess we'll find out whats up when mods are ready. Most mods here are pretty fair and cool.
