Good to see things going so well......the cost hurts a bit but not as much as a problem caused by cutting costs, so many times before my latest set up i cut corners due to either convinience or cost and each time i probably, by doing so lowered the yield and had to go buy crap weed and spend more money once i ran out, this time much like yourself i dont ever plan on running out again.............keep up the good work with this thread, cant wait to see how things pan out.......ECSD bag seed eh? who knows maybe another elite clone to be found.

I am sorry if this has been adressed already, but did you do anything to insulate the ceiling in that space at all, I imagine that would help with hot and cold temperature issues.

Howdy OH, things are progressing nicely in your attic, well done. I have a question for ya, ive been griwn in dirt for the last 3 months or so, first time in a long time and im not very good with it, i have been using R/O water with added Cal-Mag and Floa Nova nutes. I have a couple plants that are close to finishing and i want to start giving the strait H2O. What should i water them with, strait R/O or R/O with Cal-Mag or just plain tap, my tap is about 270 ppm.

HI bonzo. The new avatar is from the bottle of Absinthe and I thought it fit just right!

My flush generally consists of two-three weeks of watering. I'll do one or two heavy flushes depending on the size pots I'm working with. I like to let the roots soak in some clean water prior to the flush to soften up and build ups that have occured during flowering. Then, using a 16" square grill, I'll set the pot on top of a 5 gal and let the water collect. This makes it visable and much easier to determine whats coming out over the course of the flush. I use 2 or 3 times the amount of water compared to the size of the pot.
(ex. 1gal pot= ~2.5 gal water) Not scientific by any means but a great rule of thumb. I've had great luck using these methods and always end up with a clean burn and great taste. My buds are never overpowering with smell....UNTIL their broken up. I think this has alot to do with the minimal amounts of oils, nutes, and starch's that are left in the buds. Just the way I like it. I'm not quite familiar with your nutes, I used EarthJuice, although I may mess around with some Advanced this run. Well....I'm stoned so you got the long answer. Well alot has just happened and I am SUPER SUPER STOKED...

When I closed up shop last time I gave my clones to HC to hold.

Today I picked up two girls I've been dyin' to get growing. Cindy99 and Strawberry Cough! These two are ready to be cloned, veg for two three weeks and go under the 600! What a time warp! Thanks bud-

He also hooked me up with some new beans! Some SuddenlyBlue from TRC, Bubbleberry x Buddha's Sister, Bubblegum F2's, and some mystery ART's Blend. I am excited to get these goin' soon!

Crazy also just hooked us up with some Ducksfoot!!! Oh SWEET!!!!!
That'll be next as well!

Tonight I'll have pics of my two new girls....and I'll be cloning cloning cloning! Can't wait for the fun. I do have to admitt though...the attic is tight quarters...you should NEVER take for granted a good house or apartment spot.

It's getting colder here now and I'm just hoping I can control it in the deep winter months. With no light, insulation, or heat source the temp in the empty flower room is 41 @ 6a.m. I'm sure it will get even colder as the snow has not even begun to fly. Small oil furnaces, along with a ton of insulation will hopefully resolve most of my issues. I'll be running my 600 (and possibly getting one more) during the night hours to maximzie the cooling effects. I'm just gonna have to wait and see I guess....

The veg chamber, utilizing my T5 and 400mh stays between 72-76. I've got no intake or exhaust as the air naturally passes through the attic.

I don't find it to be climate control rather climate management. Climate control gives you the feeling that there is a constant comfort level. Where as management requires constant attention. AHH! (me just venting...escuse me!)

I finally used the black/white poly and I love it. Gives you some killer walls and blocks the light great. I've got as much invested in poly as I do anything else! lol. I'll be trying to reuse it all on the next run...I only used thumbtacks so the op would be able to get dismantled REAL quick if need be.

Ah well...another two minutes of your life spent reading a silly post! I love this place. OH
