Atao Genetics Caribbean Dream (St. Vincent x JLB) F1 Mom winner Banana.jpg
just a small update on the Caribbean Dream (St. Vincent x JLB F6) F1.
Ten out of ten seeds germinated within a week, so 100% germination rate.
Found one trifoliate seedling who already showed three cotyledons and whorled phyllotaxy.
Also did at least two individuals jump from their first true leaves directly to five fingered ones on the next node, thus skipping the more common three fingered ones in one go.
Lastly, one seedling is still a bit small and lagging behind.
Cheers & happy growing everyone

So clean and perfect as always my friend wow! I bet that half of the half of them will be jewels females so cheers and happy growing to you! Vielen dank!
again an update on the Caribbean Dream by Roms and his Atao Genetics.
They were slowly adapted to outdoor conditions and received yesterday, amongst other things,
a foliar spraying of organic hydrolyzed protein and potassium soap derived from algae to ward off
Thrips, since some leafs showed minor infestation signs.
And oh well, the combination of a foliar feeding yesterday, with full sun today and temperatures
around 30°C caused just some slight leaf tip burns ... Nothing too serious, just should have known better.
Am waiting for some microbial inoculants (Trichoderma harzianum, Glomus mosseae, Glomus intraradices, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, other Bacillus species, Pseudomonas fluorescens) and others to arrive and, most likely next weekend, they will be repotted.
The single small plant is still lagging behind, will keep it around to see how it will develope, but only the nine bigger ones will receive larger pots then.
again just a small update on the Caribbean Dream.
They've been repotted into larger containers into an organic, self-mixed soil with a diversity of microorganisms and worm catings among other components,
also the smallest one has been repotted.
They recovered nicely from their sunburn und are happy, healthy and vigorous at the moment, or so it seems to me. Moreover do they emenate a noticeable scent, which is promising.
Will now do an update every month or so, otherwise it would feel like spamming this thread/subforum. Really like these plants, trugarez-mat breur Roms !
Hallo Azaghal, ya it seems to have slowed down a bit but looks now pretty good with repott, + indeed fruity specimens i bet! Have a good season my friend, small pots need much work of watering but inevitable to limit the size of pure sat plants Feel free with the show Trug' danke
