Sounds like a miniature of the Tunguska event , if that one had exploded over a capital city at the time the world would be a very different place now.
Looks like some material made it to the ground , geologists will be all over this , fresh uncontaminated samples are rare , also of high value with provenance.
Imagine a bigger one hit paranoid Korea or half the middle east and was mistaken for a nuke.

the sound of the shock wave is astounding...many videos on this one.
Im in the southern sf bay area and I saw the biggest shooting star I have ever seen at around 6 or 7pm to the north. There were news reports about it.

Hash, we heard that meteorite last year, thought a propane tank had exploded, called 911 it was that loud. Fucking freaked me, because I *know* a sonic boom when I hear one.
