We keep going with a little greenery. If I remember correctly, those were shot North of Srinagar, on our way to a day-walk in Sonmarg.

Here some plants few what seem to be indica-ish features, such as the wide-fingered leaves (at least comparatively to the vast majority of plant one comes across in the valley)

And a nice roadside fenced patch

Plus more roadside Bhang, this one, south of Srinagar, nearby Anantnag

Salut Monsieur!!

I cannot believe i had lost this awesome thread of 2010!?...But, i must admit i´ve read thousand of times yours Paki thread umh umh...It was truly inspirational for me. So, fristly Thanks a lot MrIko for your instructive and useful posts. Im tasting every single of your words, believe me.

Nonetheless, i´d like to add a couple of things. In relation to the Paki hash made in Maroc, the firts time i saw it was in 2002 (in Madrid). That same year we moved down to Maroc and got some nice so-called Pakistani. I´m almost sure the very first time they obtanied a big harvest of moroccan Pakistani was in 2000 or 2001. Since then, the quality of that hash is decreasing year after year...But nowadays some small quantities of Mexicana, Pakistana, Jamaicana made in morocco are been smuggled into Spain...but also mixed with moroccan traditional genetics...so, the most different thing coming from there right now is named as Jardin or Jardallah or Jardullah, which are simply mixed dust from very differents plant, all of them crossed with the Kiffi traditional plant during this last 10 years. Consequently, and always talking from my experience, we (consumers) are in a worst situation to score some nice hashish from El Moro compared to 10 or 20 years back.

Besides, i´d love to add my view regardind you so-called Malana cream crap hehehehe...but ill wait til well arrive to the Himachal Pradesh part to share my opinion hehehe

Just kidding dude! i love this thread, sooo cool imo. Kashmiri is my next destination when visiting India again...along with Banjar Valley in the Himachal, but we´ll talk about these later...

Have a superb weekend mate!. Ill light up a fat moroccan or whatever one for you. Keep this outstanding info coming mate.

Big ups, Rubio

Hola Señor el Rubio !

eheh, you haven't lost anything. The thread was started a while ago, but I only really started to post pics a few weeks ago, so you're in time to hop on the flying carpet !

Yeah, it does suck all this waste... Moroccans have managed to fuck up their genetic pool, it's been a while since I've manage to score some real genuine Moroccan hash made from Kiff plants. All we have feels indeed like mix of different stuff, or made from import genetics. It's clean & bubbles, but it is just not the same...

Besides, i´d love to add my view regardind you so-called Malana cream crap hehehehe...but ill wait til well arrive to the Himachal Pradesh part to share my opinion hehehe

eheh, I was kinda generalizing I know, but I have to admit that all Malana creams i've sampled were of much inferior quality than what they claim to be. We'll talk more about that in the Indian chapter indeed!

eheh, you've done your research ! Thanks & have a great week, enjoy the journey !

A bit more greenery here. Nearby a police station, a nice patch of typical poplar-shaped sativa plants.

Still nearby the same police station, one humongous lady I called the "Queen of Kashmir". Real monster, nearly 5m height and probably has wide. It was late July and the plant had started flowering. I would have get closer and picked seeds (if any) had the plant not been surrounded by thick bushes. I was thinking about the eventuality of stepping on some snake or even landmines, so I opted for just pics, er...

^ yes, they used to sell Sadhu and still have Hashberry on their menu. . . ^

funny how challenging it is to find it pure. . .

I smoked Dr Greenthumbs some years ago and it was one of my favorite highs, even if the taste was just ok

G `day Mriko

Enjoying your travelogue very much .

A question ; the dark blue colour of the leaves in the pictures . Is that a feature of Kashmir and Nepal ?

I have seen sativa plants in Australia with that blue look . Makes me wonder if its Kashmiri / Nepalese genetics in the mix with the other Asian Sativas like Thai , Indonesian and Vietnamese .

Thanks for sharin

EB .

Greetings Elmer Bud,

Well, that I don't really know. I haven't had yet the chance to grow any genetics from there actually.
About Nepal I know only what I've read so far as I haven't visited, yet?, this country, but for Kashmir, can't say about the genetics but I think the environment plays a great part. Maybe altitude, but also soil, which is very rich in Kashmir valley. Everything that grows there takes on a super-vivid green colour, whatever the hue.

One of the plants I grew outdoor from Yarkhun seeds had a strong blue hue as well, definitely geentics in that case.

Irie!
