They like the space. They like the mix. I will begin to gas them in a few days. I'm sure they'll thank me.
The smaller ones are the Sourdawg x Dirty Taxi. They were started 2 days later and got thiers roots torn during transplant. They are all bouncing back fine, just taking thier time.
Got to try and stay alive in this toxic soup called America.
Time to let them cook and wait for them to show me thier genetalia.
Shes finally all up and running. Working a few kinks out. Deciding if I should cut another 4" intake through the veg and flower. I think I'm going to keep it as is with the one and see how it operates full top and bottom.
Everything is happy in there. I'm keeping the veg themostat set at 82F. Once I'm gassing they should love that. They are just starting to get upset in those cups... They'll be much happier in 1 gallon trap bags.
These Chemdog D X Dirty Taxi are pretty stout little stinky fuckers. Can't wait to see them in flower.
The final count is:
2 Dirty Caddy (Elvis X Dirty Taxi)
10 Sourdawg X Dirty Taxi
11Chem D X Dirty Taxi
12 Original Diesel X GMODD
Lets hope we get some super fire out of these! Cuts of all the females of course.
HAPPY GIVING OF THANKS! Side branches coming in. I'm really paying attention to structure. Looking out for those few seedlings whose side branches are already growing out almost as far as the seedling is high. Theres a few in there. We will see how this translates to clone structure way later on after selections are made. All 35 babies are doing well 2 or 3 have some slight yellowing I'm attributing to being heavy eaters and almost running out of available N in the solo cups. Theres plenty more N available in that mix for sure... just locked up. Ions are the key. Ionic exchange takes time and the proper pre cursors.
If you haven't read Teaming With Microbes, do yourself a favor and purchase and read that book if you're an organic gardener. It will help you on the path to understanding the many different processes that are absent in mass produced industrial cannabis. They decided to go straight to thier current method of stripping soil and converting to petrolium based fertilazation. It produces food with little to no nutritional content.
After some H2O...
Some veggies going. Tomatoes, cucumbers, jalepenos, some herbs...
We got some ladies in the house!!! I started going through the front 5 or so and they were all females which started making me a little anxious so I stopped. I'm in no rush. Here is a lovely Chem D X Dirty Taxi. She's short and stout with a whole mess of side branching still hanging close to the main stalk. Smells of something 2000's but not distict enough of a stem rub. I'm not a big stem rub guy. I mean of course I do it... but I feel like we've all smelled those odors before... save a few rare ones like candy and menthol....
Lettuce all have overflowing cups! (man you just wake up an old dad one day)
Man the weather outside is frightful! But my fire will be delightful... Merry holidays. Update with the official sex count in a few days. We don't want to mis gender any sentient cannabis plants now!....
Time slows for no one. Waited a week too long like I love to do. I got them all in Homers. 2 started getting a little unhappy on me. I've got some DynaGro veg I might hit them with the drop in the sprayer. IME this will help boost them out of a nutrient defeciency. IMO too many cultivators overlook the foliar application of nutrients. On the left side are all the Chem D X Dirty Taxi. 10 of them! Super stoked on these! Moving towards the right theres a row of 5 Sourdawg X Dirty Taxi and 5 Original Diesel X GMODD. Only had one of the 2 Dirty Caddy turn out female. Shes got some nice structure though so I'm excited to see what she produces.
This Original Diesel X GMODD has a very "sour" looking fan leaf and structure to me. I really hope I get some sour leaners!!
I'm going on my insticts here. A culmination of all my knowledge. I'm not afriad of a drop of Dynagrow in an organic setup. My secret weapon are my worm bins. Nothing but high quality food for them. Kelp meal, rock dust, wheatgrass, some fruits once their numbers are built up, and of course AVACADOS! They have orgies in them. I shit you not, there are probably 50 babu red wigglers in 2 tablespoons of this stuff! I've been building them up feverishly for 4 months!!! Each Homer got a large handful of life.
Minus the floor scraping and acetone cleanup this is her all done. Lies. I still have to put up the shelf for the dehumidifier and poly tube it into the condensate pump... but then that it!! MWUAHAHAHA!!!
Finished painting, caulking, hanging the scrubber. I'm going to reduce down from 10" to 4" and make a high velocity duct running down the back of the cabinet and along the back wall. I'll drill many little holes all throughout the run and cap the end. This will circulate air nicely from the under-canopy. Drawing cool dry air in and pushing it upwards through the canopy. I'll put my CO2 outlet hose up there so the gas can hit the undersides of the leaves and all those open stomata. This will make me feel good. And hopefully the ladies I keep in captivity will as well. Here's my rediculous reducer for the ducting.
And here she is full of life like I like everything.
