I know a couple cops back from my hometown that are still on the force after 30 years and a few of the young fucks I'd gurantee my ass would be locked up for the nite for a roach.Decriminalized or not.
Its so funny that some people think everything that doesn't make sense to them is a lie. We all know some cops are assholes. I remember once when I was arrested on the street with bud and was charged with so many more charges that didn't make sense. It still dragged on for a year in court even though it was common sense.
On another case that I had I chose to represent myself because the charges were just so wrong. Even though I brought the law book to court and read the specific law and penalty to the court, I was found guilty and my penelty was worse than the law stated. I argued that to the judge and he didn't care. Don't you guys understand that these cops and judges do as they please even when its wrong. If you don't get that you are missing something.
cops said they found 4 grams in my laundry .4 fuken grams lol they are bloody queer,if i had missfortune of being a cop i would have smoked that , or chucked it. ya petty is right terrible bloody crime.
I'm very sorry about your incident noyd666, I hope the waiting game means they have little or no interest in pursuing your case.
In my state possession of an oz or less is 30 days / $500 BUT paraphernalia is 1 year / $2500. How fucked up is that? "This weed here will get you 30 days but by god we really need to get these rolling papers off the street son so here's a year in the clink for you."
Actually I think it's done this way to give the "impression" of being a progressive, decriminalized state (up to a oz is only 30 days, see?) while essentially maintaining the same out of control penalties as before underhandedly. Ironically the only individuals carrying weed without a means to consume are probably the dealers themselves. Well done lawmakers, well done!
So yes in my state the penalties for the pipe or film canister the weed is in is more severe than the (supposed) "drug" that goes in it. Really all they have to do is make a case that a ziplock baggie is paraphernalia and you're screwed either way. Anyway, my point is if you haven't already done so I would suggest going to the NORML website and reading up on the laws for your state.
You might be surprised at what you find (I know I sure was!) ~The Prof
I second that. I go to court Monday for a speeding ticket/not having my CDL with me. The CHP, overlooked 8 Skywalker ounces over the limit, my rec was expired and when I was looking at home for my CDL, I found my current auto registration..I have no clue, what I handed him! $885. fine. I felt lucky. Except for, the speed trap!jpt
