Arjans Haze, Amnesia Haze, or Love Potion ??

I realize I'm sorta opening up a massive can 'o' worms here....
and I think it's pretty well known that all three of these strains are definate winners.
But I'd really appreciate hearing from people who've grown them and/or smoked 'em (only if you're SURE the bowl was packed with what you were told it was )
I'm interested (in no particular order) in consistency of beans (tough to get a good pheno?), quality of TASTE/flavor, and yield.
I think it sounds like the highs are all real similiar (although maybe someone will pop in here to throw in a whopping HELL NO they aren't!). Interested to hear about that as well. I know Arjan's is said to have a 1/2 life of about 50 years lol.

For anyone who has information, I'm respectfully requesting that you chime in here with as much of it as you can possibly share. I've done plenty of reading (all the mags) so it comes down to your personal opinions now if you please. What I mean to say is that sharing info based upon what the breeders have to say about them isn't really needed since I think I've read all there is to read from the breeders and mag reviews.

Seems like these are all KILLER strains for those with experience and patience... but it's also a major dilemma trying to decide whether or not one (or maybe 2) might really stand out for any particular reason. I've seen some major variations with Soma gear (lack of consistency between 1 set of 10 beans) so that right there is one issue I'm debating about.

May I extend a HUGE thank you ahead of time to anyone who helps out by sharing information here. And if possible please feel free to toss in any pics you might have as well.

The Love Potion is a great plant. Nice strong sativa buzz. Easy to grow and good producer.

quick reply: My Arjans #1 are the most vigourous of this lot: Cindy, Wonder 99, Wonder diesel, wonder haze, wally ducks.
2 out of 4 also have slight crinkle leaf syndrome. The seeds are three weeks old now, not much more I can tell ya.

Ive only had Love Potion out of the three, but I loved it. I didnt personally grow it, 3 close friends of mine have Love Potion in their lineups..

Its great stuff, extremely stinky.. had a real funky smell. Tasted just as wonderful. Great smooth smoke, nice buds, and very pleasant high. However 2 of the growers had their plants herm at the end of flowering, not bad, but a few bananas.. they just picked off most of them and they didnt any noticable damage to the buds. A few of the last batch that were grown had small amounts of purple show through on the bud.. but a plant being grown right now has turned all out purple. Most I've seen are green.

we smoked some amnesia haze in the dam whenwe were there.. it made my wife pass out for the day... pretty funny.. i'd love to get some of Soma's beans, but they are so daymed expensive...

Go with Love Potion. RM puts out top-notch products, Arjan on the other hand, well that's a different story..

the fact is you can't really go wrong with these choices...

if i had to make a list of the top 5 most potent pots i've ever smoked (not necessarily my favorites) these three would all be in it. they will all really blow your socks off.

i'd say that the Love potion probobly has more variety in the phenotypes because it's a 50/50 indica cross. arjan's and amnesia are straight sativa hybrids i believe...

if i was choosing based purely on potency i would pick Arjan's... for yield Love Potion... and for taste i would pick Amnesia...

Arjan is no breeder. Who is he getting his strains from? We know he doesn't have the parent plants for most of Gh's old offerings.

he's got someone new breeding for him... check out MOD's gallery for some pretty Arjan's Haze crosses...

also, while he doesn't have the original parents to stuff like Super Silver Haze they must be doing something right over there because 2005 GH SSH did really well in the dutch High Life cup. namely it got top honors... so while it's not the same, that doesn't mean it's not good.

love potion is (santa marta columbian gold x g13) x santa marta columbian gold. so it's only about 25% indica. it is some good, strong weed. that would be my choice.

definately not... it's one of those kinds of pot that doesn't look like anything special, but then blows your head off after a bong hit or two...

and it wasn't the hawaiian snow that was dusted... it was the Big Bang (i think). i smoked some of that stuff a couple weeks after the cup it was entered in ('02 or maybe '03) and was wondering 'what the fuck is so great about this stuff', it was mediocre at best.

but i've tried several samples of AH #1, #2, #2 Ultra, and #1 Ultra.... they've all been intensely potent.

I think I would have to agree.. and Amnesia for one other reason than flavor - potency. I've seen several of Soma's gear... phenos do tend to vary, but there doesn't even seem to be a bad pheno, just different. And NOTHING from Soma I've seen could have been more "covered" in the resin department. Always grade A if massive visible crystal (also sometimes referred to as bag appeal).
This is important to keep in mind, because when you start messing around with these 10-18 week sat's, you don't want all you time invested into something that ends up looking like "shitweed" or "around the town brown". Not that it matters if it's only for your own meds (which is the case with me)... but I like to look at my smoke.. a LOT... and when looking/gazing, massive trichomes is part of what I enjoy getting blurry in if ya know what I mean.
