well after looking at the massive increse in the cost of the passes...I wont be attending... last year, judges pass, 250thats was all entries.... this year, 300 for ind, antoher 3 for sat and another 3 for hash...

EDIT after looking at this it could look like im angry...no its me being my usual tounge in cheek self...disappointed that i cant go, and confused as to why it would go up SO VERY DRASTICALLY, trebled in fact, but definately not pissing in the bonfire.... hope you all have a good time

....usually the judges are overwhelmed by their task and need lots of help from others at the event to try and get some sort of congnitive result on the judges form.........

....I have often seen a Judge recruit 2 or 3 other growers to help out with judging their own judges pack............so you will most probably be press-ganged into helping out with the judging by someone.....methinks......

Well I plan on attending and my brother will be with me. I dont think we will be judging. This will be our first trip to amsterdam so if we seem wide eyed and shocked just bear with us.

EDIT: Well it seems I have to put my trip on hold until i can get some extra funds. I will try real hard to get over there but as of right now I have lawyers to pay. I like to go fast in my car. :smile:


I decided to continue my hearing because of a business trip. I will be attending by myself. First time to the dam and first 420 cup so Im really excited.

Ill hold ya to that BrattPid.......on the drink front mines a cola coz last time i smoked and drank alcohol i collapsed (just ask Dr D).........just gonna be a lot of smoking this trip and im sure i weed is gonna be in excess, ill have a jar of my own so keep an eye out for me and be sure to say hello.....that goes for all, im gonna be smoking up a big jar from home (as well as a sativa judges pack) so come join me.

I'm going to be in Amsterdam during this time, and I want to know what qualifications one should have to be a judge. By the way, this is my first post here and what a cool site!

its up to you which pass you get. indica, sativa or hash, you just have to do your best to judge each sample to the best of your ability. you can always get someone as a judging helper if you feel overwhelmed by it all. according to the poll on how many entries there are gona be. each bud cattegory has over 20 planned entries soo far and there are 10 planned hash entries also, so far. with 3 and a half months to go before the event we might see even more entries. i think the only real qualification you need as a judge; is a pretty high thc tollerance, cause you only have a few days to judge it all.

Cowboy, yeah...there are a bunch of activities going on during the day, and at Wake and Bake we usually get the lowdown on what's on the program, but people are free to come and go a they please, organize themselves whichever way they want, choose what to participate in and what to pass up...its like a three day party with a list of satellite parties from which you can pick and choose. You can do or not do anything you wish, as long as you absolve your Judging duties, where you do that is up to you, just make sure you have your Judges baggie and scorecard with you wherever you go
